There is a certain probability that we do too much. Judge for yourself: we are an agritourism farm, an educational homestead and an association of local enthusiasts. We organize nature and educational workshops, we teach how to bake bread on a cabbage leaf, and those who are tired of the rush of life are invited to herbal baths in our forest SPA zone. It's probably this sentiment for the Low Beskids that drives us so much that we want to go to the four corners of the world and say: come, nowhere is so beautiful.
We invite you to Lemko chyża in Лося, which in Polish is in Łoś. We rent it as a whole or as four single rooms with a common area. We can provide full board for the hungry. And you must know that we feed local cuisine, with respect to what grows around and what we can currently get from our neighbors.
Here you eat homemade buns, wander along empty trails and watch nature through a magnifying glass. Doesn't that sound like a slice of heaven?
In a house made of over 100-year-old Lemkos. We rent the place as a whole for exclusive use or in the form of individual rooms for a smaller number of guests. We have four rooms - two on the ground floor and two on the first floor, each with a private bathroom, a table with chairs and access to a shared kitchen.
1) Winter room - for 4 people
Room on the first floor on the south side with a view of the mountains. One single bed 200 x 200 cm and two single beds.
2) Spring room - for 4 people
Room on the first floor on the north side with a view of the mountains. One single bed 200 x 200 cm and two single beds.
3) Summer room - for 2 people
Room on the ground floor on the south side by the living room with a view of the mountains. One double bed 200 x 200 cm.
4) Autumn room - for 2 people
Room on the ground floor on the north side by the living room with a view of the mountains. One double bed 180 x 200 cm.
You will eat here mainly locally, i.e. with Lemko accents. We try to buy little in stores, we focus on what grows around and what a given season has to offer. We have our own herbs, our own smokehouse, oven for baking bread and pizza, but also plenty of contacts with local residents that have been proven over the years. We know where to get the best trout or where to go for cheese.
To give you a taste, we present some of our suggestions for breakfast and dinner:
- homemade bun with cheese,
- Lemko proziaks,
- homemade bread on a cabbage leaf,
- own preserves and lemonades,
- original herbal mixtures,
- smoked tenderloin,
- white cheese with herbs,
- homemade tomato cream with homemade pasta,
- smoked trout from the oven with a bouquet of salads,
- coffee from a local roaster.
We are not only an agritourism farm, but also an educational farm and an association around which a local group of enthusiasts of our Beskid region has gathered. We organize nature and educational workshops, we teach how to bake bread in our oven, we invite you for forest bathing.
At the very Skrawek Nieba we provide a SPA zone - with a tub, sauna and massages. We have a grill shed where you can bake sausages, proziaki and even pizza. In our Łosie there is a very interesting Zagroda Maziarska, an open-air museum where you can learn about Lemko traditions. We also recommend going on the Wooden Architecture Trail, which leads through the most beautiful monuments of the Beskids.
When it comes to active and sports offers, there is a beach on Lake Klimkówka less than 10 minutes from us. In the area, you can also go horseback riding and rent bicycles. Of course, let's not forget about the forest and mountain paths of the Low Beskids, where - there is a good chance - you will not meet a living soul.
What about city attractions? And there will be no shortage of such in Krynica, the more intimate Wysowa or the Slovak Bardejov with its picturesque old town surrounded by historic walls.
What’s there for children?
Let's start with the playground - it doesn't consist of a lonely swing, but a real obstacle course. There is a gym, zip line, climbing parkour, slide. For willing groups, we offer bird watching combined with an ecological game, making ecological bracelets from what is found in the meadow, building huts and learning how to use a map and compass. We also have a piece of private forest with two nature trails.
A great idea for a family trip is the open-air museum Zagroda Maziarska (1 km from us), where you can arrange a tour or a workshop. We also recommend a visit to the Hutsul horse stud in Regietów, swimming in Lake Klimkowskie and moving back in time thanks to the Stara Baśń castle in Grybów. There is a summer toboggan run and a rope park in Krynica, and it is worth looking around for artisanal ice cream "Lodówka" on the main promenade.
