Here you jump in an hour from Warsaw and absorb the peace, nature and lifestyle of a gardener. You can pick berries, you can dig in the ground, you can relax in a hammock, read books on the terrace, go for a walk and even wade in a river. The area around the dacha is really large, wooded. There is a place for a bonfire, there are hammocks, parking for several cars or a place to pitch a tent. Oh, and the river. It flows right next to it and is clean as a tear. It is the home of the frogs, it is the watering place of the birds. You can wade in it, and when you come with dogs - better take towels from home to wipe wet hair. There is something to do in the area. Mazovia is flat, so you can cycle for kilometers through forests and villages. You can go for walks: - to the Prądza River - one of the cleanest rivers in Poland, - our pond in Witkowizna by the Prądza river, - to the ruins of the watermill (here you can admire the dam built by beavers) - to Lake “Torfowisko” (4 km), which is a small wild lake in a nature reserve. There is no direct access to the lake, but you can walk along the paths between the trees in the close vicinity. The area is wet, so be sure to take wellingtons for this walk. You can also take binoculars, because birds and beavers make themselves known. If you dream of a kayaking trip, you will have to drive about 40 km to Liwiec. There you will find plenty of rentals, for example in Wólka Proszewska, in Zaliwa-Szpinki, in Liwa.
