No, this is not a story about how we left everything and moved from the city to the countryside. I have been associated with this piece of Masuria between Mrągowo and Mikołajki since birth, just like my parents and my parents' parents. We have a gravel road here, nice neighbors with eco-vegetables and the great blue of silence, i.e. Lake Juksty. You can cycle around them - after all, the Masurian Bicycle Loop runs next to it, you can see it from a SUP position. We provide water equipment without the need to log in, subscribe or pay additional fees.
The plan for coming to us may be as follows: you gather a team - e.g. a two-family group - and come to occupy all 8 sleeping places, almost 1.5 hectares of open-air area and a private pier with a beach. So life jackets on your back, oars in your hand - Masuria is waiting!
We used to rent our house as independent, mirror apartments. Today you can rent it as a whole, but the division into separate halves remains. So it will be great for a joint holiday, e.g. for two families.
Inside each half you will find: a kitchen, 2 bathrooms (one with a bathtub, the other with a shower), a spacious living room with a fold-out sofa, and on the first floor two bedrooms (one bedroom - a double bed, the other - two single beds). The house is located on a fenced plot with: a barbecue gazebo, a playground with a trampoline and a hot tub.
But, but... that's not all! On the other side of the gravel road, we have a 60-are plot with private beach access to Lake Juksty, a pier, a bonfire place and a volleyball court.
You can rent the entire house for a group of up to 8 people who like to have more space.
In each half of the house there is a cozy kitchenette where you rule yourself. In the neighborhood, we recommend approaching Mrs. Danusia for country eggs and organic vegetables, and Mr. Kazik for goat cheese.
Our village is located between Mikołajki and Mrągowo, so when you run out of desire and strength to cook, local pubs will come to your aid. You can try Masurian slow food in Osada Dzika Kaczka. Although they no longer serve guests from outside as a traditional restaurant, you can call and ask about the possibility of ordering takeaway food: https://dzikakaczka.com/kuchnia/ maybe he will come back this season too? In Mikołajki itself, but at a safe distance from the pedestrian streets, you will find Przechowalnia Marzeń - a beautiful, atmospheric place, among others. for breakfast in the garden.
Nad Jukstami is actually three large plots with a total area of almost 1.5 hectares. One of these plots is located on the other side of the gravel road and has direct access to Lake Juksty, which is located in the quiet zone. A private pier with a beach, a volleyball court, a barbecue area and free water equipment for rent and pleasant use await you there:

- boat,
- SUP board.
The Masurian Bicycle Loop with a total length of almost 300 km runs next to the house. Completion of all works of this extraordinary bicycle project is to take place at the end of June 2023. Beautiful forest, field and meadow paths are at your fingertips - you don't even have to move your car. In addition, only 2 km from us begins the Masurian Landscape Park and the Piska Forest, i.e. over 100 thousand. hectares of forest to the horizon. Beautifully? Well beautiful!
First of all, a lot - almost 1.5 hectares of running space. Be sure to take the kids on lake trips: by boat, kayak, SUP or water bike. The playing field and the playground will certainly also provide many opportunities for fun.
And in the area? Start with horse riding with Basia (her stable is a few steps from us). Staying in animal attractions, we highly recommend a visit to the research station of the Institute of Parasitology of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Kosewo Górny, where in the company of great guides you can get to know e.g. deer. It is hard to find another such interesting place!
