Half and half is one house, although from a distance it looks like 2. In the front part of the house there is a kitchen and living area with a work area on the mezzanine, and in the back there is a sleeping area with a bathroom. There are 2 single beds downstairs and a double bed upstairs. Additional sleeping for 2 people is possible on the sofa in the living room, but 4 people will be most comfortable here. None of the bedrooms are lockable. We have as many as 2 terraces: the front one, with garden furniture, intended for grilling, and the rear one with a SPA zone. There is a Jacuzzi and a hammock, and behind it is a sauna. The house stands on a large, unfenced plot on one of the hills in Ryglice. This is our homeland. Approx. Our farm is located 250 m behind the house, so if you feel like it, we can offer advice, but we guarantee that you will feel privacy here. You will also have access to our private forest. We planted a vineyard on one of the slopes this year. We expect the first crops next year, then we will also open it to the public.

For breakfast we will deliver you a basket filled with local products. They all come from our farm. Every morning we bake bread and proziaki for you. We have our own eggs, cheese, butter, milk, kefir. In season there are also vegetables and herbs from our garden. We deliver baskets to your door every day at 8.00. You don't have to pick up breakfast at this time, but if you manage to get up, you will find the proziaks still warm. For dinner, you can go to one of the nearby restaurants. Tasty homemade food is served, for example, in Oberża pod Grzybem (a Hungarian cake is said to be amazing!). Here we will not deny ourselves a curiosity - the restaurant is so called because in 1977, the then largest edible mushroom in the world was found near it. The branchy rag had a hat diameter of about 1 m and weighed over 15 kg.

The name Half and Half refers not only to the shape of the building. In this way, we also wanted to suggest that you can rest with us in two ways: lazily or actively. And the coolest thing is simply to combine them - during the day go on a bike, on a trail or explore the surrounding area, and after returning, forget about the whole world in the sauna or jacuzzi and calm down while looking at the nearby hills. At location: – we have a SPA zone for you (the use of the jacuzzi and sauna is additionally payable, prices can be found below), – electric bikes are waiting for you (rental cost: PLN 200/day), - there is a TV with access to Netflix, if you want to catch up on the series, – you can use an unfenced 5-hectare plot with a fragment of a private forest – read a book on a hammock, have a barbecue, watch the sunset on the terrace or do morning yoga on it; although we are not in a complete remote area, the buildings are far enough away that you can feel here as if you are alone on a hill. If you are interested, I will prepare an overnight stay for you in the open air among cereals. On a comfortable canopy bed you can spend one of the warm summer nights. The attraction is free. The following are waiting for you in the area: Cycling routes They are about 200 m from the cottage. The following trails run through Ryglice: – green, 7.5 km long, on the route you will see: a granary in Ryglice, a palace and park complex in Ryglice, a manor house in Uniszowa, a Jewish cemetery; – the blue one, 27 km long, is a loop with many attractions along the way: the church in Ryglice, the palace and park complex, numerous crosses and chapels, vantage points, war cemeteries and nature monuments. Poland Tuscany Did you know that the Tarnów region is called "Polish Tuscany"? It is here that part of the vineyards of the Małopolska Wine Route is located. This area is called ENOTarnowskie. The nearest vineyard, lying in the buffer zone of the Ciężkowicki Park at an altitude of 250 m, is called "Piwnice Antoniego" and is only 3 km from us. Brzanka range You will observe them every day after waking up straight from our terrace. The Brzanki Range Landscape Park stretches between Lesser Poland and Podkarpacie. It is an extremely picturesque, mountainous area with Brzanka as its highest peak. Although you can drive to Brzanka by car, it is much better to climb the trail from Burzyn or Uniszowa. From the observation tower standing on it, there is a panorama of the Ciężkowice Foothills, Beskid Niski, Sądecki and Gorce Mountains, and next to the tower you can see a charming old shepherd's hut. An interesting viewing platform is also located on Mount Kokocz (4 km from here). You will see the panorama of Ryglice from it. Also check out the reserves: "Góra Liwecka", "Ostry Kamień", "Nagórze" and "Liwocz". Horse tourism If you fancy a ride, the Agro Ryglice stud is 9 km from our house. Tarnow This is a city with a very interesting, multicultural history - in the Middle Ages it was at the intersection of important trade routes, so Jews, Czechs, Germans, and even Scots and Roma settled here; here you can admire the colorful tenement houses of the market square, climb Mount Św. Marcin, see the bimah of the demolished Tarnów synagogue and the mikveh, the Jewish bathhouse. run They say that Biecz is a small Krakow. This may surprise you, but In the 16th century it was... one of the largest cities in Poland. There used to be 3 castles and a royal court here. Today, people go to Biecz to see the market square with the restored town hall, the Renaissance tower decorated with sgraffito or the building of Queen Jadwiga's hospital from the 14th century (!) There was also a famous school of executioners in Biecz. Yes - the executioner had to finish school. Gorlice The Gorlice Land has a rich history of the oil industry. Gorlice was home to Ignacy Łukasiewicz, an explorer, pharmacist and oil industry pioneer. The world's first street kerosene lamp was erected here. Here you can visit the Magdalena Oil Industry Open-Air Museum. And these are just some of the interesting facts about this city! The urban layout from the 14th century, the Karwacjanów Manor, several war cemeteries, architecturally interesting churches and the Długosz Palace - there is a lot to see here.
