What do you need for relaxation? We would answer: peace and quiet, proximity to the forest, a good attitude and.... Brandy. With a capital letter, because we mean our thirteen-year-old horse named Brandy. This affectionate as a kitten, professional glutton was an athlete in his young years, and after he retired, he became part of our stud. His traits and character inspired the design of the double guest cottage. Like Brandy-the-horse, the cottage is small, very peaceful (its location is a secluded corner of the farm) and has a cheerful, bright interior. The space is enhanced by panoramic windows, probably the largest ever seen in a forest lodge. There are seats on the roof for mindfulness practice, and a hot tub on the terrace for relaxation. A hammock for afternoon naps, a Kamado grill for delicious dinners. And all this on the wooded edge of Lake Plateliai, for the best vacation in the world.

Welcome to the heart of Žemaitija National Park. We are located 20 minutes from the Telšiai - Kretinga road and about an hour from the sea. Brendis House is part of the Virš Ąžuolų farm, so you can enjoy all available services during your stay.

The cottage is located in the forest, a little away from the main buildings of the homestead. It is surrounded by pine trees on all sides, so if you want to experience the lively life with us, you will have to spend a few minutes walking to the center of the farm. The cottage has no close neighbors.

We are waiting for two adults for a quiet vacation. You have a living area with a kitchenette and a sleeping area with one double bed and a shower room. The windows of the living room and the bedroom open up a wonderful view of the trees, allowing daylight into the cabin, so even on a rainy day you can feel as if you are outside. Depending on the season, the cabin is heated or cooled, perfect for a stay in all seasons. In cold weather, guests can additionally light a fireplace, but there is also an air conditioner, so you can have a warm time without creating a fireplace.

The entrance to the cabin is surrounded by a wide terrace with a net-hammock, outdoor furniture and a hot tub* (extra charge). Another relaxation area is located on the roof, where you will find two comfortable sleeping bags and a view like from an observation deck.

All our cabins have fully equipped kitchens, outside near the cabins there are grills (extra charge), you can order charcoal/firewood for cooking. You can also have lunch or dinner in nearby cafes. Below is a list of our recommended locations.

There is no shortage of activities at the homestead. Horses and other four-legged residents do not allow the Hosts to sit idle, and they will not leave the Guests without interesting activities. Maybe you will be interested in meditation during horse grooming? Petting and feeding animals? Riding lessons with an experienced trainer and calm, friendly horses? Biking, riding or walking in the Žemaitija National Park? Rowing and swimming in Lake Platelia? During the years of existence of the homestead, we discovered many interesting activities that we could recommend or organize for our visitors, and this is only the beginning of the list.

Of course, if you are going to rest from the daily bustle and dream of complete peace in the forest, we will leave you alone. The cabin is surrounded by as many as eight hectares of private homestead area, where you can safely wade, smell, take pictures, meditate, sunbathe or just lie down (by the way, we have built two wooden deckchairs under the pine trees at the entrance of the cabin for this purpose). The most important thing is that at the end of the rest you feel refreshed, full of energy, and convinced that "Brandy" is waiting for you when you return :).

We care about your complete rest, so we will be happy if you can temporarily forget about work :). However, if you plan to move your office to "Brandy", bring fast internet with you. If you are writing a book or thesis, you will find cozy corners for quiet work with a laptop or books.
