On the way between Liberec and the Czech-Polish border, we found our dream place. Here, in the foothills of the Jizera Mountains, in a place dominated by mature ash trees, we discovered a historic building. And we reconstructed it - both for ourselves and for you. But don't worry, peace and privacy are guaranteed to you - your apartment is sound and layout insulated from our living space.

It is said that the caretaker of the Frýdlan castle once lived in our building. Maybe that's why the locals
they nicknamed this house "castle". Documented sources for the object took us to the middle of the 19th century. But who knows how far they actually go. In any case, the roots of our ash trees are deep, we believe that they give the place not only a special atmosphere, but also a hidden power.

The countless natural beauties of the so far undiscovered Frýdlant ridge have a hidden power - you will probably explore them yourself, without crowds of tourists.

You can reach the apartment from the garden by stairs, as it has a separate entrance.

The apartment can accommodate 4 people and contains:
- entrance hall with cloakroom
- living room with kitchen
- bathroom with shower and washing machine
- attic bedroom for 4 people (1x double bed, 2x single bed, 1x cot, 1 futon on request)

The first floor is reached by the miller's stairs, so please be prepared for them to be a bit steep.

If you would like to come to visit us with your pet, please be sure to ask us in advance - we have quite a few pets here and we don't know how they would get along with yours.

We left everything you need in the kitchen and a large dining table for up to 6 people.

When nature shares its harvest with us, we can bring you vegetables or fruit directly from our garden. And the same applies to eggs from our hens (price according to agreement). In season, you can also pick your own - for example, currants, cherries, herbs, etc.

In addition to our homemade products, you will be able to buy other local products from us (such as honey), so don't forget to ask. And if we don't have something but know where to find it, we're happy to direct you. You can then go in search of other local treasures.

Let our garden become yours for a few days. When the weather allows it and sunny days come, there is nothing better than enjoying a pleasant lounging. In addition, we have prepared a sitting area and a fireplace for you, our guests, in the garden.

And if you want to take a walk around the area, try some of the following:
- take a walk under the treetops in the local alleys
- go to the Hornorásnice church, which is mentioned in the Frýdlant Urbary as early as 1381 (we will only tell you that a film wedding from the fairy tale The Clockmaker's Apprentice took place in the interior of the church)
- go to Hejnice, an old pilgrimage site where the Church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary stands today
- for walks along the colonnade and the lazy atmosphere of the spa town, it is worth going to the Libverda Spa
- you will be drawn into history not only by a visit to the Frýdlant castle and chateau, but also by a living open-air museum in Jindřichovice pod Smrkem or Curia Vitkov (occasional meetings of enthusiasts in historical costumes, battles and workshops for children take place here)
- it is worth going on hikes to Kamenný vrch, to the kingdom of beeches and rocks (the impressive National Natural Monument of the Jizera Mountains Beech Forest is now on the UNESCO list) or to waterfalls, e.g. Velký Štolpich on Sloupské brook or smaller (really tiny, but pleasant) on Arnoltické brook
- lovers of ornithology can be directed to the nature reserve Meandra Smědé with the Dubák pond, the banks of which are strengthened by centuries-old oaks
- creative souls will appreciate a trip to the Spiderglass Heřmanice glass studio.

We also don't forget the athletes:
- Cycling: don't hesitate and ride through our local alleys, and we will direct you to Singltrek pod Smrkem for off-road cycling (starting point, e.g. in Nové Město pod Smrkem, approx. 8 km from the apartment)
- Swimming: look for outdoor and natural swimming at Šolcova rybník, Velké rybník, Raspenava, and if you want to be among people, then in the Smědá sports complex, where there is a swimming pool with a natural water source, you can find an aqua park in Liberec or in the Polish border spa Swieradów-Zdrój (15.4 km from the apartment)
- Skiing: for winter sports, go to Smědava (a modified cross-country ski route starts already in Nové Město pod Smrkem)
- sauna, wellness, massages after a great sports performance will definitely come in handy and can be ordered at Lázní Libverda, in Hejnice or in the nearby historic spa town of Swieradów Zdrój.

If our younger guests have smaller feet, they must be careful on the mill stairs in the apartment.

In the apartment you will find a children's corner with books and toys, children's chairs, a wooden play table for children. The cot is already part of the interior.

Outside, the smaller and bigger ones will appreciate the area of our garden, the enclosure with domestic animals (goats, sheep, chickens) or the children's corner with swings. And maybe luck will smile on you and occasionally you will spot foxes, pheasants, badgers or a few whooping cranes.

If the weather is rainy and the children do not want to go on a trip, it is possible to arrange the production of their own ceramic mug in a related gallery in nearby Poustka. Or go to IQlandia in Liberec - there is a lot to discover, even for adults!
