Here is a treatment for your eyes. At 1 Pogodna Street in Kudowa, you can regain your serenity as befits a former health resort: experiencing soothing senses, comfortable interiors and walking around the nearby spa park. Be sure to walk slowly. Our villa was once called "Nowy Świat House" and it housed a hotel, which makes its past even more romantic than we could have hoped. However, unlike Nowy Świat in Warsaw, you will not see crowds here. Even though it is in the very center of the historic holiday resort, the building dating back to the twilight of the 19th century is located far from the communication route. And although Kudowa can easily be described as a resort, we would sum up our impressions of this place in one word. Composure.

Romantics will find their place here. All those who get a thrill from imagining the stories of old summer vacationers resting in old villas. The same people may also appreciate the armchairs with a subtle line of armrests, which I upholstered myself with floral upholstery in the Morris style. They couldn't be missing here - after all, this is a project of a local factory, and furniture renovation is my greatest passion. Just behind it is skiing - so in the apartment you will find a modern drying room for equipment and a condenser dryer. Just a marriage of romanticism and practicality. And although I am a very active person on a daily basis, every time I come here I feel like sitting at the graduation tower like an 80-year-old patient. Take a walk to the pump room, drink strange-smelling water from a porcelain cup, slow down. The apartment by the park that I created in Kudowa-Zdrój is a place for self-care and reflection, but also an excellent base for skiing, cycling and mountain trails. Put the icing on this cake with a trip along the trail of fabulous Czech castles and it's a sure thing. This will be your most beautiful memory from your stay in the sanatorium.

The apartment on the ground floor of a pre-war villa consists of 2 bedrooms (one with a double bed, the other with 2 single beds) connected by a common space: a kitchen and a living room with a dining room. The apartment has 2 bathrooms with showers. From the terrace, which can be accessed from one of the bedrooms and the kitchen, there is a view of the charming garden belonging to the building.

Although I tried to keep the romantic, spa atmosphere in the design of the apartment, which captivated me in Kudowa and its villas, I also made sure that it was comfortable and modern. On site there is a drying room for ski boots, skis and boards, there is also a condenser dryer. In the basement we have a garage, which does not fit a car, but is perfect for storing bicycles and other tourist equipment. To increase comfort, the floors in the bathrooms and in the corridor are heated. The equipment is well thought out and nothing is missing here. It's an apartment where you can organize, for example, family holidays and take practically nothing with you.

The apartment can host you up to 6 people. In addition to two double bedrooms, we offer accommodation on a large sofa in the living room or 2 extra beds that can be placed in the bedroom (a good option, e.g. for families with children).

There is a parking space in front of the building at your disposal.

The kitchen is comfortable and, although small, is modern and fully equipped. You can cook for yourself or go to one of the many restaurants in the area. We recommend to your attention, for example, the restaurant, where you will eat dishes based on regional products, but also tasty Italian pizza. It is also a place where you can go for a good coffee and a drink in the evening.

We like to come here in winter to ski the most - there are many great slopes in the area that will please the most demanding. A great ski resort is the Zieleniec Sport Arena in Duszniki-Zdrój. There are as many as 42 downhill runs, and the area is very extensive. Even during the holidays, when there are a lot of people there, it is not crowded. A smaller and more intimate resort that we like is Czarna Góra, 1 hour away.

We take great pleasure in trips along the trail of spa towns, which we also recommend to you. On the route there are: Polanica-Zdrój, Duszniki-Zdrój, Długopole-Zdrój, Lądek-Zdrój… Each one has a slightly different character, a unique spa park, its own pump room and streets lined with historic villas. It's a bit like going back in time.

North Bohemia is famous for its beautiful castles, and in its vicinity there are national parks, river canyons, rock towns and charming small towns with a historic street layout, with taverns where you can taste traditional Czech cuisine. The castles of Častolovice, Sloup, Jilemnice, the ruins of the Potštejn castle and the castle and town of Letohrad are waiting to be discovered. Each of these places has its own unique atmosphere.

35 minutes The road separates you from the large Czech lake Rozkoš, called the East Bohemian Sea. Especially water sports enthusiasts can enjoy it. There is a recreation complex with water equipment rental by the lake, but if you prefer to lie down in a more secluded place, you will also find such places around the lake.

There are walking and mountain trails nearby (especially: Szlak na Zieleniec, Szczeliniec Wielki, Skalne Grzyby and Góra Wolarz). You have to visit the Stołowe Mountains National Park at least once in your life, and the Orlickie and Bystrzyckie Mountains are also very close - if you like walking along the trails, this area is perfect for spending an active holiday. Also, do not miss the largest singletrack project in Poland, which has over 260 km of downhill routes - cyclists, pack your equipment!

If you thought that holidays in a spa are the domain of retirees, you may be pleasantly surprised. He will not regret who will go on holiday in Kudowa with kids. For parents - peace measured by the steps of walks in the park and cups of spring water in the pump room, and for younger patients: adventures, discoveries and a dose of exercise to top it all off. A 1.5-hour trip separates you from the Skybridge in the Czech Republic, the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in the world. Right next to it, there is the Path in the Clouds, from where children can slide down to the very bottom and it may not even be the biggest attraction of the day, because there is also the "Mammoths amusement park" on site - huge and well prepared. You can spend at least one fun-filled afternoon in the rope park in Kudowa itself. And in winter: slide on sledges, apples and bowls to slide down many nearby hills (they are waiting for you on the spot).

The soothing atmosphere of this place is conducive to work. It is also favored by comfortable armchairs and a sofa, a large table in the dining room and a secluded place in the bay window, where you can hide in peace for the whole day (or half, because the prospect of all the pleasures after work can help you speed it up).
