When you ask in Elgnów about a feldsher's house, the inhabitants will direct you to us. There used to be a feldsher's point here, where people came for medical help, diagnosis, medicines. Today they come to soothe the soul and body. We regenerate tired people with aerial yoga, holy peace, the sound of bowls and gongs, and veggie food. You can go through fields and forests to the lake, you can also take part in ceramic workshops, practice yoga in sashes, forge your own gong, enter a new level of meditation in sound and learn something about edible weeds.
We invite you to the habitat that we renovated with our own forces and ideas. We have an exclusive house in the garden for you and three rooms in the hosts' house. We share with you a large kitchen, our home, garden and skills. Come do nothing or develop yourself in new directions. We invite you to the very end of the village. To a place where people want to stay longer.
Welcome to the house of the felczer, i.e. the village doctor. The one from Elgnów was living in our house. This old habitat consists of the main guest house with three rooms for guests (we - the hosts live on the ground floor) and a common chill-yoga-fireplace room and an independent house in the yard (for 3-7 people). Besides, we have a communal garden to listen to the birds.
The house in the backyard can be rented for 3 people (then only the ground floor is available), it can also be available for up to 7 people (then we provide a bedroom on the mezzanine). The cottage has:
- kitchenette,
- round table,
- a fold-out double sofa,
- single bed,
- a bathroom with a shower,
- two double mattresses on the mezzanine and two armchairs (one hanging).
There are three rooms in the guest house.
- The Wiktor room is located on the ground floor and has a double bed and a single bed (possibility of an extra bed upon agreement) and a bathroom in the corridor (only for guests of this room).
- Grandma's bedroom is located on the first floor and is designed for 2 people. It has two single beds and a desk. The bathroom with shower is shared with the mezzanine room. On the same level there is a room with a fireplace and a place to practice yoga, aerial yoga, relaxation.
- The mezzanine room for 3 people is located in a large house. There are 3 single mattresses under the slopes. The bathroom with shower is shared with the Grandma bedroom. Below this room there is a hall with a fireplace and a place to practice yoga, aerial yoga, relaxation.
All guests have access to our large kitchen, where I prepare breakfast for you, and where you can also cook something. In the same way, you can freely use the fireplace-yoga room and the garden (place for a bonfire).
Each guest has access to the kitchen - guests of the cottage to their own annex, and guests of the rooms to a large shared kitchen in the house. However, if you do not feel like cooking, you can order breakfast and dinner from me.
Meals are vegetarian and prepared from what is in the garden, at the neighbors' and in the meadow. I bake bread myself from flour from local mills, I make spreads for sandwiches from pods, sunflower seeds and vegetables. I weave weeds on the menu. I make pesto from elderberry, nettle or radish leaves, while fried plantain leaves in batter are a great snack. I buy country eggs from my neighbors, in the summer I have a lot of vegetables from my own garden. For dessert, I make home-made fudge with salt, I make waffles, buns and tarts with fruit.
Guests somehow unknowingly go into slow motion with us. They are drawn to the magical garden and they lie listening to the birds singing. Sometimes breakfast turns into a 4-hour conversation, and then a place for the next meals can be made during a walk to Lake Dąbrowa Mała. The road leads through fields and forests (2.5 km from us) and leads to the Old Town. The lake is clean, there is a nice beach, a pier and a gentle descent to the water.
It is definitely worth taking bicycles with you, because the surroundings are beautiful, quiet and with little car traffic. You can plan your route to the nearest lakes: Zwiniarz, Rumian, Grzybiny, Dąbrowa Wielka and Dąbrowa Mała, and then come full circle to Elgnowo. Go to the Astronomical Observatory in Truszczyny (9 km) or 12 km to Grunwald and visit the Museum of the Battle of Grunwald.
If you don't have big plans, just go behind the fence and go for a pleasant walk into the blue distance. To the right, behind the gate, you will reach the so-called colony, i.e. fields with single buildings stretching beyond the horizon. To the left you go to the "center of the village". There is a shop, a children's playground and a wild pond where local kids go fishing. This is the same direction as to Dąbrowa Mała Lake.
There are also horses in the village - only to be admired, not to be ridden. However, in Glaznoty there is our friendly stable "Rocking horse". You can arrange a lesson or a walk in the field there.
For fans of water sports, there is an equipment rental in Dąbrówno, and you can go canoeing on the Marózka and the Wel River.
When you decide not to go anywhere, creative ways to spend your free time are waiting for you. Together with Marek, we can lead for you:
- relaxation sessions with a concert of bowls and gongs,
- practice of aerial yoga, i.e. yoga in hammocks suspended from the ceiling,
- yoga practice on mats,
- ceramic workshops,
- workshops during which you will create your own gong (this workshop should be arranged in advance),
- herbal walk.
What’s there for children?
- Swinging in yoga hammocks,
- exercises on the mat,
- relaxing with bowls,
- walks for herbs and weeds,
- a trip to the lake to the beach in the Old Town (few people, nice beach, gentle descent to the water),

- a playground in the village,
- and even a trip to the sea (we have 1h 30 minutes to Stegna).
What’s there for employees?
You can hide here and write a book, focus fully and be creatively stimulated. The Internet is sufficient to view e-mails and work on computers, but not as fast as in the IT department. You will find a desk or table for yourself, and in the garden you will lie down at the table under the tree.
