This house is like Benjamin Button: the longer it lives, the better it gets. Magical things happen in Orla, just like in Podlasie. We are sure that whispers from Orla whisper about the metamorphosis of our house, between one healing and another.
For almost 2 years we reported our adventure with the ruin on the edge of the village, now we can invite you to the ready. We know from experience that a trip with two families with children works best for us, but a group of friends will also be found. Be sure to go cycling along the Green Velo trail, visit the "blue clovers", i.e. the historic cemetery in Dubicze Cerkiewne, see the colorful Orthodox churches, Białowieża and walk barefoot in the forest. And after returning to Orla, make yourself a coffee and, looking at the sky, hang on a hammock. It regenerates beautifully. We invite you!
The fairy-tale red house is located on the outskirts of the ORLA village in the picturesque Podlasie region. Behind us is only the forest, the Orlanka River and pastures where you can admire cows, horses and beautiful sunsets. People live slowly here, they sit on benches in front of the house, and in the morning they go by bicycle to get fresh bread, greeting everyone from behind the fence. Everyone knows each other well here.
Our house offers 4 climatic bedrooms. From each room there is a beautiful, uninterrupted view of the Podlasie countryside. The SZARAK room and the FOREST room have two single beds. ROOM WITH A VIEW and GRANDMA'S room - have one large double bed. Each room has a wardrobe and a place to rest. The house also has a common space, i.e. an atmospheric living room combined with a kitchen and dining room, a place for reading books with a children's corner. The house is very spacious - the whole area is 150 m2. There is also a climatic bathroom on each floor - one with a shower and the other with a bathtub. From the living room, the exit leads straight to the terrace, where the sun shines in the morning, and children can immediately run to the playground without a care.
In our kitchen you will find everything necessary for free cooking. A fridge with a freezer, an oven, a four-burner stove, a dishwasher, grandma's climatic cutlery and all the necessary glass :) You don't have to pack too much and worry about the ingredients. We offer you coffee, tea, spices, and even flour or oil. The shop in our village is open 7 days a week :)
If you don't feel like cooking, no problem. There are plenty of restaurants around that will even deliver food to your place. Something good for everyone:

In our habitat, everyone will find something for themselves. Do you want to rest and calm down? You don't have to move. We offer a great library with interesting literature items from each category. We offer carefree lying on a hammock or on a sun lounger and staring at the sky :) You can sit on a bench under a pear tree and watch horses grazing in the meadow or drink endless coffee on the terrace and listen to frogs croaking. In the evening you will light a fire and you can listen to the sounds of breaking wood until the night. We also have a guitar - so you can dance and sing.
Are the kids bored? None of these things - a playground with a trampoline will surely give parents a respite. And in the evening, you can play a match on a mini football field, because you have as much space with us as you want.
Do you prefer to spend your time actively? Here you go. We offer bikes for children and adults and invite you for a trip around the village of ORLA, where you can visit the Jewish Synagogue, beautiful wooden Orthodox churches or go the other way, where the route leads through the forest. We also leave you with plenty of tourist guides on what and where to see. Within 50 km you will visit the best tourist attractions of Podlasie: Białowieża, Land of Open Shutters, Św. Mount Grabarka, Koryciny and many others.
Heat and heat pours from the sky? Pack a blanket and head to the Bachmaty reservoir in Dubicze, where sunbathing and water equipment rental are waiting for you (10 km).
What’s there for children?
We know how it is with children, because we have two of us. Our house is child-friendly in every aspect. We have a travel cot on request, a bathtub - because you need to wash your children freely after dancing in the backyard. You will even find a baby chair and a bottle warmer here, because we know that warm milk for the evening is essential :) The children's corner at home offers something for children of all ages - there are toys for babies, books for toddlers, blocks for the elders and family games for spending time together.
In the yard, just behind the terrace, there are swings, a slide and a trampoline. Next, a mini football field :) Bicycles are also adapted to toddlers - there is a bicycle on small wheels and a seat for the youngest.
Around the corner you can even go in slippers and see grazing cows and horses up close.
What’s there for employees?
Each room has an atmospheric place adapted to remote work. Everywhere free access to sockets and fast WIFI. You can also work in the living room or on the terrace :)
