We know that there are lovers of old times, romance and the countryside among you. And it is you, and of course all those who like to discover the "new" and "unknown", that we invite to our beloved corner of the world. Look for us in the Bobrůvka river valley, at the very end of the road in the village of Habří. It is here that the 800-year-old Svobodný farm No. 1 stands and in it the original outhouse with a classicist shield from 1832.
We took over the whole estate from my mum and started running it in 2021. Would you believe that my family has owned it since the 16th century? That's a big chunk of time, which hides many life stories and interesting history. Here, under a layer of oblivion, dust and earth, we discover traces of the past 800 years. In the course of them, the house went through various transformations. He experienced great landowners who farmed here successfully, with love and dedicated their lives to honest work. But he also experienced bad landlords and was literally devastated under the communist regime. See this rediscovered mosaic of time, the history of the house and the village in our small private museum.
But back to vejmin. With slow steps and efforts, we are trying to get closer to its original form. After cleaning and cleaning, we furnished it with the original restored furniture. The one we found on the farm. Here you will really feel like you have gone back in time. And we are proud of one more thing... You can spend your vacation in our guesthouse and get to know Habří and Vysočina. Not only because in our opinion it is the most beautiful place on earth, but because of this you actually become a part of the amazing Free Estate project.
VEJMINEK AT JULINKA'S
For all lovers of old times, we have lovingly reconstructed a small room in our guesthouse. And we named her after one of the original residents of Svobodný estate No. 1, Julince.
The room is furnished for up to 4 people. There is one double bed and two single beds.
The windows here are not tiny at all. They are more like the frames of rare paintings, where the colored canvas changes according to the seasons. In fact, they share with you a view of the nature of the Highlands to the three cardinal points.
We furnished the cottage itself with period furniture that was given a second chance (like all things here). We restored what needed to be restored and returned something to its ancient charm with just a kind touch.
To make you feel comfortable in our apartment, we have built a separate bathroom with a shower for you one door away.
The entrance to the vejmink is through the guesthouse.
BREAKFAST OR HALF BOARD?
The right basis of the day in the form of breakfast simply has to be. And we have our favorites here. Honest and homemade. For example, in the form of eggs from our hens, spreads or strudels like grandma's. But even such fritters with vanilla cottage cheese, homemade marmalade and blueberries are not to be thrown away. And did we mention that we get our milk from local cows?
When you stay with us, we will be happy to take care of your comfort on vacation and prepare a delicious dinner.
We provide breakfast or half-board after agreement with you, in home conditions.
In addition, there is a pub room (coffee, alcohol, non-alcoholic, grill), but it is not always open. Our self-service bar is still open (alcohol, non-alcoholic, beer, sweets, cheese, ice cream - for a fee).
FISH
When you go on one of the trips to the surroundings, for example towards Pernštejn and Nedvědici, be sure to stop in Ujčov. You can catch or buy trout here and grill it in the evening.
PRIVATE MUSEUM OF THE FREEMAN ESTATE NO. 1
Last year, we made a commitment to gradually return it to its original form with respect for history and ancestors. And we keep our word. We will look forward to you discovering the ancient stories of the farm and the village in our small museum of the Free Farm No. 1. Here you will find the original double-winged door from the vejmink, read something from the diary of Žofia, who once lived here, and see her drawing of a farmhouse from ancient times. Or are you interested in a shard of medieval pottery? We discovered it by chance during the reconstruction of the sheepfold. The experienced eye of archaeologists dates it to the 13th-14th century. century. Can you imagine that our farmhouse could be much older than we ever imagined?
The museum has also become a meeting place for descendants of families from Habří and a place where history comes alive and is recorded for future generations. We have a lot of work ahead of us, but we look forward to each day because it is meaningful.
WHAT ELSE...
And if you decide to explore the wider area in addition to our farm, swimming, picking mushrooms, walking through pastures where you can meet cows and horses, as well as discovering other places with a mysterious history await you. Ready?

What’s there for children?
You may not find "typical" fun activities like a trampoline or a pool.
But instead, you can go on a fun journey together in the footsteps of the past and its ancient inhabitants. Look together in the barber's case, try to guess which scissors or other tools were used for what, look at old clothes and long skirts together. Or listen to the sounds of a rare beggar's bottle.
And then boldly run around the green meadow near our boarding house, which is just for you.
