Quick check
Our great-grandmothers knew very well what ecology and sustainability were, even if they didn't call it that. They processed the pigs from snout to tail, sewed their own clothes, ate what they grew themselves, didn't waste water and made their own soap, duvets or even butter.
And even if they got up before dawn, they woke up smiling and rested. We won't stress you out, dry grass is to blame. And so we want to let you taste therapeutic sleeping on hay. There are dozens of such places in Switzerland and Austria, and we are happy that your tired back can now rest on a hay mattress here.
If you are not convinced by the romantic aspect or the sentiment of a return to traditions, we also have bulletproof facts for you.
Benefits of sleeping on hay:
- allows air to flow, and is therefore healthier than modern mattresses made of synthetic materials
- adapts to your curves while you sleep, but at the same time provides support for the spine
- hay does not appeal to dust mites, which otherwise live in mattresses
- natural aromatherapy! The earthy smell of hay calms the mind and relieves stress.
