Thirty years ago, a house made of a railway wagon was built here. And then the pond that completed the whole. A habitat was created for family escapes to the forest to seek peace. Let me assure you right away that you don't have to look for a long time, because this place surrounded by trees is conducive to regeneration and not leaving anywhere. Because why move when there is everything here that allows you to relax. I made sure that three decades later the cottage was transformed into a comfortable house for 8 people with the distance from the pier counted in steps. You can swim in the clear water of the pond, sit or do yoga on the pier, jump into a boat or a pedal boat and get your daily dose of activity. And once you've burned enough calories, turn your attention to relaxation and direct your bodies to the sauna or full of bubbles in the jacuzzi. A private forest created for walks and forest bathing is the best way to rest your heads, and integration is facilitated by a fireplace, the crackling of which in the evenings also has a relaxing effect. We have a good microclimate here, plenty of space for your own thoughts and so much nature that you can get a little lost.
The house hidden in the forest has its own family history. 30 years ago, a small family house was built from a railway wagon. He contributed to the construction of a larger house and a pond to make resting here in Sosnówka an even more pleasant experience.
I think it worked because once you come here, you don't feel the need to leave. It's all here:
–120-square-meter interior with a fireplace in the living room, a large table, a comfortable sofa and a view of the forest,
– 3 bedrooms with double beds and a double mattress in the open mezzanine area,
– well-equipped kitchen,
- two bathrooms,
– relaxation zone with sauna and jacuzzi,
– pond with a pier,
– boat and pedal boat,
– a large, green plot of almost 2 hectares,
– a shelter with a barbecue area and a bonfire area.
At your disposal will be a piece of private forest and an even larger piece of state forest.
This house is created for those who would rather not move anywhere. Although it takes many different forms here. You can, for example:
– take a walk to the pier and do a few asanas there or just sit,
– swim in the pond (the water is clean) or by boat or pedal boat,
– warm up by the fireplace,
– jump into the sauna,
– soak in the jacuzzi,
– play basketball,
– feast in the gazebo in the garden.
However, if you decide to go outside, you can drop into the Turczynówka stables and Sosnówka itself to see a fragment of the Berlin Wall.
Not far from us is the Barycz Valley and the beautiful Milickie Ponds. The Landscape Park covers 87,000 ha and includes 6 nature reserves. You can admire nature on 1,800 km of bicycle, hiking, kayaking and horse riding trails leading among fields, meadows and forests. There is a European Important Bird Area in the park, which is a great place for bird watching.
Thanks to the proximity of the Barycz River valley (a right-bank tributary of the Oder). You can go kayaking on this slow river, which is characterized by numerous weirs and dams (which sometimes requires portages while swimming).
It's nice to get around the area on two wheels, so if you have the opportunity, come visit us with your bikes. There is a bicycle trail nearby, leading from Złotów to Dobroszyce. It partly runs through forests on the border of the Trzebnica and Twardogórskie hills and stops at several picturesque towns.
There is also Oleśnica, which was once the capital of the Duchy of Oleśnica. There you can visit the Castle of the Dukes of Oleśnica and see the medieval market square.
What’s there for children?
Whoever, but the kids will definitely not be bored with us. We have plenty of attractions for the youngest: we have a large plot of land, a pedal boat and a boat, a mezzanine where everyone can sleep together, a telescope for stargazing and a jacuzzi where the whole team can sit. There is a stable nearby where you can look at the horses and ride them.
