It was the lake that we fell in love with first. And since only 80 m from the shore there was a building for sale, we did not hesitate long. Well, one day, to be exact. The over 100-year-old school - and previously a parish - was too big for two people and a chocolate Labrador. So we quickly came up with the idea of creating a house open to guests. After the renovation of absolutely everything, 3 apartments emerged from the clouds of dust and history. Each with its own kitchenette, bathroom and bison dose of wood. They are spacious for a couple and just right for a quartet. Behind the windows you will see the Wielki Bytyń lake - transparent as a glass. We also have forests, forests and more forests, and a lot of paths on two wheels (or two legs). We invite small and large people, with dogs, cats and good energy. Let's light a fire and talk about life.
P.S. We don't eat meat and we ask you to do the same when you live with us :) Thanks and see you by the lake!
Our house is located in a small village in the Mirosławiec commune, a few steps from the beautiful Wielki Bytyń Nature Reserve. There used to be an evangelical parish here, and then a school. The former fact is reminded by the nearby historic church, which currently belongs to the Roman Catholic parish. On the second one, only fragments of a clay tablet found during gardening. The previous owners removed all traces of the building's former functions, and we were forced to carry out a general renovation and redecorate the house.
At the moment we have 3 apartments for you. They can accommodate 4 people, but for stubborn people there is always an additional place on the fold-out sofa. Each apartment has a bathroom and a kitchenette. As our guests, you will also have access to common areas - a garden with a shelter and a living room. We are open to bringing dogs or cats. We have a friendly dog, Hugo.

We are not preparing meals...yet. We are in the process of looking around for help in this topic, so we will add information here when we confirm our culinary status :) We leave the cooking to you for now, which is why you will find kitchenettes in each apartment.
Attention, IMPORTANT - no meat is eaten in our house! Please respect this rule and if you plan to use the annexes, use them only to prepare meat-free dishes.
It's hard for us to be bored. Although it is even harder to recommend commercial, typically tourist attractions. Instead, we recommend active recreation in nature.
#1 - Lake Wielki Bytyń
The Wielki Bytyń lake begins just 80 m from the house. It is a lake with the first class of purity, which means as much as 7 meters of transparency! There are beaches here (one right next to us), piers and access to water equipment such as SUP or kayaks.
#2 - hiking and biking trails
Around the Reserve you will find over 235 km of marked trails. We will be happy to show you the most interesting ones - just ask us on the spot :)
#3 - sports equipment
We share balls, the pitch, badminton equipment and even boule balls.
#4 - forest, forest and more forest
There are as many as 4 Natura 2000 areas in the area: the Protected Landscape Area of the Wałeckie Lake District and the Gwda Valley, the "Lake Wielki Bytyń", "Mirosławiec" - Żubry and "Puszcza nad Gwdą" Reserves. 25 km from us lies one of the least visited national parks: Drawa National Park.
#5 - interesting conversations
We like getting to know our guests. We will be happy to light a fire with you and talk.
What’s there for children?
Children have a holiday paradise with us. Parents spend whole days in our garden playing and talking together, or looking for an opportunity for an active adventure in nature. On site you will find board games, books, and the proximity to the lake. In the area, we recommend bicycle trips, kayaks, SUPs (for older children) or visiting the Bison Farm.
When coming with small people, remember that there are stairs in our apartments - in the apartment "Ryś" the steepest, so-called ducklings.
What’s there for employees?
We recommend ourselves for workation! You will find a place to work in the apartments, but also in the shared lounge or garden. We provide WiFi. We will be great for both solo and group remote work - thanks to the apartments you can work together, and in the evening catch your breath more "individually" :)
