Behind the forest, by the water, there is a house where you can realize your Mediterranean dreams. And although it is not in Tuscany, because it stands in the heart of Masuria, there is a climate here conducive to living in the Italian way and resting without any remorse. This house has always been in my family. My grandfather Jurek bought it from a gentleman who supposedly won a plot of money at cards. The plot in the first line by Lake Świątajno Narckie, and with it the old cowshed, which Małgosia and I gave boho interiors, we decorated with climatic accessories and modern art of my authorship.
Here, the main attractions are the lake, the wildness of the surrounding grasses and the absolute lack of space for any duties. We hope that connoisseurs of pleasant interiors, lovers of feasting on the terrace, fans of swimming, dog lovers and cat lovers will find themselves here. Here is the time for cinema screenings from the projector, bonfires until dawn, sessions in the tub with hot water, drifting on a SUP and watching crayfish in the lake. You will give yourself into his arms after walking 25 steps. We have a few more ideas for spending time here. Make yourself comfortable in a hammock, sit on a couch under sails, conjure up a dinner with self-made pasta and enjoy each other until late at night. Dream peaceful dreams, fulfill your whims, pamper yourself without the rest. Because that's the climate here. Simple, pleasant, perfect.
On the shore of the lake we found a house over 100 years old, which we decided to restore, preserving its original walls and shutters. It gives its guests coziness, a boho atmosphere and a view of the lake. You can get here in 2 hours from Warsaw.
The interior of the former barn is atmospheric and spacious. You can come even in a group of 12 people and with animals. The house has almost 250 m² and 5 bedrooms. Downstairs there is: a living room with a fireplace, a large kitchen and the smaller of the bathrooms. In the attic there is a corridor that leads to the rooms, and at its end there is a second bathroom. Both have showers.
We also took care of a large terrace in front of the house, a gazebo and a tub with a jacuzzi for 8 people. From these places there is also a view of the lake.
The house is located in the middle of the village, you will easily find us. Nearby we have a shop and several restaurants, the bar located next to the house is not a loud place and does not disturb the rest of our guests. All these places are open during the season. We are also right next to the village beach with an excellent access to one of the cleanest lakes in Poland, in the summer season during long, warm weekends a lot of beachgoers come here, after all it is the most beautiful lake in the area :)
The kitchen is definitely our favorite place in the house. Its heart is a bench for feasting together, even in a group of 12 people. You can also serve your meals on the terrace. In the kitchen you will find all the necessary equipment to indulge in cooking, baking and cooking. Preferably with your favorite drink in hand and chatting until late at night. Because when you have at your disposal: a pasta machine, a mixer, an oven with a power of 300 degrees, two refrigerators and a whole lot of dishes, cutlery and spatulas, turning into a chef is only a matter of time.
On the terrace at your disposal is a large, mobile grill with all the equipment, we also have a hearth.
Near the house there are 2 bars and a well-stocked village shop.
Here, on the moraine hills, on the shores of the Świątajno Narckie Lake, we will give you everything we have the best. We've compiled a list of our favorite activities:
– solitary baths in the lake,
– boating or SUP boarding (waiting on site),
– celebrating meals on the terrace,
– relaxing in the gazebo with a view of the lake and the dog, because the dogs must necessarily come with you,
– splashing in a bathtub with a jacuzzi,
– lighting a fire to enjoy its warmth,
- reading on deckchairs,
– swinging in a hammock,
– evening film screenings (we have a projector in a separate room),
– walks in the surrounding fields and picking wildflowers.
Our plot is right on the coastline. Just open the gate, walk 15 meters and dip your feet in the water.
And the neighborhood?
Let's start with the lake. There is a large, sandy beach in Narty by Lake Swietajno, but there are also wild beaches with sandy descents hidden in the forest. The lake is covered by the silence zone, and the transparency of the water reaches up to 15 meters. The purity of the water is confirmed by crayfish often found on the shore. If you like walking, you can go around the lake.
Over the fence or 50 m further, there are water equipment rentals. You can rent a kayak or a water bike and visit all the nooks and crannies by the water. Windsurfing is also practiced here, and sometimes you can also see kite enthusiasts.
There is a diving base on the other side of the lake. You can take a diving course there. There is also an underwater platform.
From our plot and from the shore of the lake you can watch many species of birds. You can install an app to recognize their sounds or take binoculars and a bird atlas with you.
We also have a forest here. It starts on the other side of the road, about 250 meters from the house, and is made for walking. In addition to the stretching paths, several lakes of various sizes are hidden in the forest. They are full of charm and you are usually alone over them. You can fish in some of them. In the season, the forest is full of mushrooms and berries, during walks you can meet roe deer and deer, and cranes can fly over your heads.
After horse riding in the forest, head to the Black Furnace and Kanthaka Stables. This is a unique place, because the stud is located in the Napiwodzko-Ramucka Forest, and the horses stay in a large, green and forest area like wild mustangs.
You can also go to the Napiwodzko-Ramucka Forest itself. The Dęby Napiwodzkie nature reserve is located there. There are over 60 trees that are almost 400 years old. The diameter of the trunks of some specimens reaches 6 meters.
If you come here in winter, we invite you to morsowanie. There are also ski lifts in the area - Kartasiówka in Ruś (near Olsztyn), the ski slope of the Gołębiewski Hotel in Mikołajki, Góra Czterech Wiatrów or Zielony Zakątek in Lubstynek.
