Nobody believed this place. People knocked on their heads and asked who would come to the house in the forest of their own free will. “It's the middle of nowhere,” they added as they left, and GPS walked side by side with them, refusing to cooperate. For me, however, this middle of nowhere was a dream come true. A clearing, surrounded by trees and a stream, with no buildings within a radius of several hundred meters. This is where I decided to build Little House on the Prairie, a place to escape from reality. The first floor of the house is space for a couple or three guests, while the ground floor can accommodate an additional two guests with arms (and a sofa) spread out. Some people come here to do nothing while swinging a hammock, others to go to the office, still others to relax in the sauna in the garden, and there are also those who are looking for pioneering adventures in the area.
I invite you to a quiet prairie, i.e. to the border of Mazovia and Podlasie. Apparently it's only 1.5 hours away from Warsaw, but please take my word for it - the world is different here.
In the only house located on a plot of almost 2 ha - without any neighbors or buildings. The house is year-round, two-level. Downstairs there is a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with a sofa bed and a goat, and a bathroom with a shower. Upstairs you will find a double bed and a fold-out sofa for 1 person.
The plot is (intentionally) unfenced - sometimes a moose, a weasel, our mare Samantha, two cats Ryszard and Klakier, and a dog Czajka come to visit us. I live about 500 meters from the House on the Prairie, so I'm nearby if needed :) Sauna, gazebo, barbecue with a fireplace, huge playground with a house for children, hammocks, deckchairs - all for the exclusive use of our guests.
The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen. But we don't leave you completely without food :) We will share eggs from our happy hens and organic vegetables from backyard beds. Cheers!
We are on the border of Masovia and Podlasie, only 130 km from Warsaw. You can come to us for workation (we have fast Internet), do nothing while swinging a hammock or soak your toes in the river. The area is quiet and peaceful - perfect for clearing your head. In autumn and winter, it's great to walk in the forest and then look at the fire in the goat, especially with a good book in your hand. At any time of the year, our sauna, which you can find in the garden, is open to you.
If you like to do some sightseeing, plan trips even further east:
- to the Herbal Corner in Koryciny (60 minutes' drive), where you can eat something at the inn all year round, and in the spring and summer season visit the Różany House (open every day from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.), where you can try, among others: incl. rose infusion or rose ice cream,
- to the Narew National Park (45 minutes' drive), which delights with the meandering Narew River and a system of footbridges over the water,
- to the Bug River (25 minutes' drive), kayaks are perfect,
- to Tykocin (45 minutes' drive), with the castle, synagogue and the popular Alumnat restaurant.
What’s there for children?
We offer children the opportunity to use the playground, pet our animals and collect eggs from the hen house. On a 2 ha plot they can play tag, hide and seek or build bases. The area is calm, quiet and safe.
What’s there for employees?
We have fast Internet and peace on the plot, thanks to which you will first focus on work without horns outside the window, and then you will pleasantly enter offline mode :) For longer stays, I give a discount.
