Stare Szałasy 

Stare Szałasy consists of two houses for rent. The first one has one bedroom with a bathtub by the panoramic window, from where we can admire the full landscape of the Tatra Mountains, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with a fireplace, and a comfortable bathroom. It is designed mainly for couples (but there is a sofa bed in case). In the second hut we have 2 bedrooms. It is able to accommodate up to 6 guests (2 double beds, a sofa bed), but the optimal layout is 4 people. There is a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, terrace with a barbecue area. Each Hut has an exclusive tub and sauna (additionally payable). Dogs and cats are welcome at no extra charge. Remember that the area is not fenced. We also ask you not to leave your pets unattended - they may feel less comfortable in an unfamiliar place than at home.

Both cottages have their own kitchens. Within a radius of several kilometers you will easily find good restaurants - such as the Italian Vincitore in Nowy Targ.

We recommend tasting Podhale slowly. The views through the windows, the sauna, the terrace and the tub mean that maybe you won't want to move from here at all? However, if you feel like doing this exercise, start with a walk in the area. You can, for example, walk the blue trail to Janiłówka and further through the forest. A longer hiking proposal is to visit the Łapsowa Niżna clearing (about 6 km one way) and wander around the Gorce Mountains. Behind Łapsowa you will find other viewpoints - Bukowina Obidowska, Kotlarka, Bernadowa. 25 km from us there is Lake Czorsztyńskie, around which runs the picturesque bicycle trail Velo Czorsztyn. Here you can also rent a boat or SUP to admire the panorama of the Tatra Mountains and castles (Niedzica, Czorsztyn). We wholeheartedly recommend the "Jump on!" In winter, there is a cross-country skiing center in Klikuszowa, and a ski lift for downhill skiing in Nowy Targ. 400 m from us there is the Pyzówka railway station, where you can catch a train to Zakopane, thus avoiding all traffic jams in Zakopianka.
