30 km from Lublin, between a forest and a field, and 5 meters above the ground, there is an intimate house. It always has: a mezzanine with space for a couple, a living room with a kitchenette, a bathroom with hot water. He has access to electricity, sauna and tub from time to time. There is no rush at all and WiFi. Because this is where people come to look people in the eye, taste wine in the Sienkiewicz vineyard and bow to the peacocks in the Zamoyski garden. Field paths will lead you to the Kozłowiecki Landscape Park or even further - to the streets of Lower Kazimierz or the Polesie wetlands.

Get carried away by them and everything will be fine.

A house awaits you 5 meters above the ground. Inside you will find a living room with a sofa bed, a kitchenette, a bathroom and a mezzanine with a double mattress. Outside, there is a forest with a sauna and a tub.

Before coming, you need to know that:
- there are two more tree houses on the plot (not available for rent by Slowhop for now),
- access to electricity is limited.

What does it mean? Let's take a real life example. Do you want to take a shower in the house - at this point the generator starts, thanks to which the water is heated and the full lighting works. After turning it off, the house will be illuminated only with LED lamps, and you will have to wait until the next generator start to charge e.g. phones.

The cottage is equipped with a kitchenette. In Lubartów (about 20 km away) the Stara Octownia restaurant and the Stara Łaźnia restaurant are worth visiting. In Nałęczów, head to Oktawia, but in Lublin sign up for a story and tasting at the Regional Onion Museum.

If you are looking for a place where nothing will distract you from reading a pile of books, then ... this may not be the place. On my forest plot, you can use the sauna and tub, light a fire under the stars, look at the fire crackling in the goat and swing on the hanging chairs.

A little further is the Kozłowiecki Landscape Park. These are excellent areas for walking or cycling. There is a bicycle trail "Dolina Wieprza and Forest Trail" and "a bicycle trail around the commune of Niemce". Rudka is only 10 km from the Zamoyski Museum in Kozłówka. Entrance to the garden is free, however, visiting the palace itself requires the purchase of a ticket (it is best to buy tickets in advance on the website, because on weekends you sometimes have to wait your turn to enter). If you are looking for something romantic, start with the Zamoyski garden.

It is worth, and even very worth, to drive to the vicinity of Kazimierz Dolny to see the Kazimierz Landscape Park and take the ferry to the other side of the Vistula River, from where there is a wonderful panorama of the city. In the first half of July, the Kazimiernikejszyn festival, i.e. the so-called "festival without hairpins".

For water lovers, I also recommend a ride (by car/bicycle) to the Łęczyńskie Lake District and the neighboring Polesie National Park.
