Japanese bento boxes are small, surprising, and offer a wealth of possibilities. Just like the two wooden cottages you can reach in a 25-minute drive from Warsaw. Although compact, they are complete in every detail. Inspired by Japanese minimalism, they delight the eye with their thoughtful design and carefully selected accessories. But while aesthetics are important, functionality takes center stage. Thanks to their clever design, bento boxes can accommodate a king-sized bed with a mountain of pillows, a kitchen, and a bathroom with a shower. They contain books, board games, a table for feasting or working, a warming fireplace, windows overlooking nature, and terraces in front of them. Guests are always pleasantly surprised that, despite their compact size, nothing is missing.
And when unnecessary objects and stimuli don't distract, suddenly there's space for something else. Space in your head and space between people. Space for breathing in the forest, breakfasts in bed, and barefoot walks through the meadow or forest floor. Your favorite playlist is replaced by a natural ambient sound, hard to find in the city. One long track consists of frogs croaking, birdsong, and the patter of rain on the terrace. Visits from deer, moose, and squirrels outside the window become part of everyday life. And no one else's, because the privacy of the forest grove is unmatched. When the weather is nice, you can hop on a bike and ride to the reserve. When it's not, it's a wonderful excuse to go nowhere.

When I came here for the first time, my childhood memories awoke: carefree summer days spent at my grandma's, her garden with whitewashed apple tree trunks that bloomed so beautifully and bore delicious fruit, the smell of the earth after the rain, bathing in a tin tub exposed to the garden, warmed by the sun, the taste of apple pie... I stayed.
The roar of cars was replaced by the croaking of frogs and the rustling of trees, walking on dry spruce needles became meditation, the crowd was replaced by an elk or a deer crossing the road. It is with great joy that I invite you here.
