First of all: this is where guys were seen spinning tissue paper flowers. We laugh that we had to divide the responsibilities so much, because if I had run the tissue paper workshops, only women and children would have come. And Andrzej has authority. He learned this Bieszczady craft from his grandmother. Secondly: we make feta from goat's milk and guests say it doesn't even smell like goat. This is the case with products made from the milk of Carpathian goats covered by the Genetic Resources Protection Program. Our guests' favorite goat is called Lodzia, because she has such a curl on her forehead that everyone feels weak. Third: we like people, even the little ones, and they like Bazyl. I am from Lower Silesia, where I wanted to stay, my husband is from the Bieszczady Mountains, and during his studies he swore that he would not return to the Bieszczady Mountains because life in the countryside and grazing goats was not for him. And here we are - we have been running an agritourism farm near Solina for over 20 years, we make hreczanyki and fuczki for dinner and we cannot imagine any other life. This is our place on Earth. And also our returning guests. Let it become yours too.
We invite you to an open and friendly house that promotes good relaxation. Bazyl is a family agritourism farm - a real one, not just in name. In addition to being a good base for trips to the Bieszczady Mountains, we also offer you unique attractions on site and the charming surroundings of the quiet village of Bóbrka. We are located 3 km from Lake Solina.
There are 8 rooms waiting for you, which can accommodate from 2 to 5 people - details about each of them can be found by clicking on a given room.
The common space for guests is the dining room and its extension in the form of a fireplace room opening onto a terrace covered with wisteria. Behind the house, on a forest path, there is a large shelter and a place for a bonfire with prepared wood.
Our area is fenced and we welcome you with pets, but please be mindful of our zoo. We live here with a dog - Wafel, who loves guests, cats - including the most settled one named Rudy 102, a Shetland pony - Lider also called Igor, and chickens, goats and a few sheep. During the season, the latter graze on pastures located above Bóbrka (about 1 km)
When preparing breakfasts, we base our meals on local products. The portions are tasty and filling (as our Guests say). If you don't manage to eat everything, you can prepare sandwiches and take them with you, so that you don't run out of energy to explore the area or walk in the mountains.
Every morning, you will find good drip coffee, and in the summer and autumn season, you can add fresh goat's milk to it. During this time, we will also invite you to a goat cheese tasting, free for all our Guests. You will also smell freshly baked yeast rolls with sweet crumble or other seasonal cakes.
The kitchenette with a fridge and microwave is located only in the family apartment, i.e. number nine. Other guests have access to a shared fridge in the corridor, as well as 24-hour access to a kettle, coffee and tea (black, green, fruit or herbal).
Off-season, we prepare dinners for organized groups, or if at least 10 people report their desire to have dinner at that time. But don't worry, you definitely won't go hungry. In our area, we have several proven places with homemade or regional food, which we can recommend to you with a clear conscience. We also have a place for a bonfire with prepared wood and we will advise you which local sausage is best to choose:)
HOLIDAYS and LONG WEEKENDS look a bit different with us. During this time, the price of your stay includes breakfast and a one-course dinner with dessert around 6:00 p.m. You will also be able to try Bieszczady delicacies during a bonfire party, to which we will invite you on Saturday evening. During this time, we have also planned various attractions, which you can read about below.
Artistic tissue paper making workshops
We are famous for tissue paper making, which we are happy to teach our guests. In the pre-war years, this was a popular handicraft in the Bieszczady Mountains - Orthodox churches, roadside chapels and houses were decorated with tissue paper decorations. It was grandma who reminded Andrzej about tissue paper flowers. Initially, the classes were supposed to be an attraction for rainy days, but the interest in them, also thanks to Andrzej's commitment and sense of humor, exceeded our expectations. During the holiday season, we meet on Friday evenings for tissue paper workshops.
Ceramic workshops
Our Basil pottery hosts ceramic workshops led by Dorota. We make Bieszczady angels, hearts and anything else you can think of. You can also try your hand at the pottery wheel. During the holidays, we invite you to ceramic workshops every Wednesday evening.
During holidays and long weekends, tissue paper and ceramics workshops are free of charge.
Meetings with a guide
Every holiday Monday, as part of our stay, we organize meetings with a Bieszczady guide. The guide will tell you which places are the most beautiful and interesting, organize a slide show, answer all your questions and help you plan the trip route.
If you visit us at a time other than holidays and long weekends, you can count on our help when planning your visit to the area and the Bieszczady Mountains.
A trip to the pasture
We will invite you to a pasture in the former hamlet of Bóbrki, i.e. in Bazyl (and now you know where the name of our farm comes from!), where from May to November you will be able to admire white long-haired Carpathian goats and Heath sheep with beautiful gray wool. We also have a small apiary there, currently consisting of 5 hives. We can drive to the pasture together in an off-road vehicle or go for a walk.
You can spend the whole day around Bóbrka and not get bored. We have water, mountains, hiking and cycling routes here. Bóbrka is located on Lake Myczkowieckie with a marina, which you can reach in a few minutes. You probably won't swim in the lake because the water is very cold, but you can sit on a bench or lie on the grass and admire the views with a beautiful picturesque heart on one of the hills. You can also rent water equipment and swim, enjoying the peace and quiet of this place.
In the immediate area we recommend:
– the dam in Solina (3 km) – a walk along the top of the dam and the opportunity to visit its interior,
- gondola lift in Solina with an observation tower and the "Tajemnicza Solina" amusement park
– water dam in Myczkowce (3 km),

What’s there for children?
You must know that our farm belongs to the National Network of Educational Farms coordinated by the Agricultural Advisory Center in Krakow. Out of season, we conduct educational classes for preschoolers, school children and teenagers. What does it mean? That we know how to entertain children. It's best to come to us on holiday with them, because it would be a terrible pity if they missed all the attractions we described above.
What’s there for employees?
We have optical fiber, so you can work from here quickly and to your heart's content. In each of the rooms you will organize a space to work at the table. You can also make yourself comfortable in the dining room or fireplace room and, during breaks from work, go out to the terrace and look at the surrounding greenery.
