First of all: this is where guys were seen spinning tissue paper flowers. We laugh that we had to divide the responsibilities so much, because if I had run the tissue paper workshops, only women and children would have come. And Andrzej has authority. He learned this Bieszczady craft from his grandmother. Secondly: we make feta from goat's milk and guests say it doesn't even smell like goat. This is the case with products made from the milk of Carpathian goats covered by the Genetic Resources Protection Program. Our guests' favorite goat is called Lodzia, because she has such a curl on her forehead that everyone feels weak. Third: we like people, even the little ones, and they like Bazyl. I am from Lower Silesia, where I wanted to stay, my husband is from the Bieszczady Mountains, and during his studies he swore that he would not return to the Bieszczady Mountains because life in the countryside and grazing goats was not for him. And here we are - we have been running an agritourism farm near Solina for over 20 years, we make hreczanyki and fuczki for dinner and we cannot imagine any other life. This is our place on Earth. And also our returning guests. Let it become yours too.
We invite you to our open and friendly home, which is ideal for a relaxing stay. Bazyl is a family-run agritourism farm – truly a farm, not just in name. Besides being a great base for exploring the Bieszczady Mountains, we also offer unique on-site attractions and the charming surroundings of the quiet village of Bóbrka. We are located 3 km from Lake Solina.
Eight rooms await you, accommodating 2 to 5 people – details about each room can be found by clicking on the room.
Guests share a dining room and its extension, a fireplace room that opens onto a wisteria-covered terrace. Behind the house, along a forest path, is a large shelter, with a fire pit and firewood provided.
Our property is fenced, and we welcome pets. However, we ask that you please be mindful of our game reserve. We have a dog named Wafel, who loves guests, cats, including one who's the most at home, named Rudy 102, and goats and sheep. Most of the sheep graze in the pastures located above Bóbrka (about 1km away) on Bazyle Hill during the season – and now you know where our farm's name comes from!
We prepare breakfasts using local produce. The portions are delicious and filling (as our guests say). If you don't manage to finish everything, you can make sandwiches and take them with you, so you'll have plenty of energy for exploring the area or hiking in the mountains.
Every morning, you'll be treated to delicious filter coffee, and during the summer and fall seasons, you can add fresh goat's milk to your coffee. During this time, we also invite you to a goat cheese tasting, free for all our guests. You'll also smell freshly baked yeast rolls with sweet crumbles or other seasonal cakes.
A kitchenette with a refrigerator and microwave is only available in the family suite, room nine. Other guests have access to a shared refrigerator in the hallway, as well as 24-hour access to a kettle, coffee, and tea (black, green, fruit, and herbal).
During the off-season, we prepare dinners for organized groups, or if at least 10 people express their interest in dining during this time. But don't worry, you certainly won't go hungry. We have several trusted places in our area serving homemade or regional food, which we can wholeheartedly recommend. We also have a bonfire spot with wood prepared for you, and we'll advise you on the best local sausages to buy :) VACATIONS (June 28, 2026 – August 30, 2026) and LONG WEEKENDS (April 30 – May 3, 2026 and June 3 – June 7, 2026) are a little different. The price of your stay includes breakfast and a Thursday bonfire party, where you can roast delicious local sausages and sample our Bieszczady delicacies. During this time, we also offer one-course dinners with dessert for PLN 45/adult and PLN 30/child (half portion). These are served daily except Sundays. If you choose dinner, you reserve it for all days of your stay and for everyone (except children under 2 years old, in which case the decision is yours). Please let us know when booking if you would like dinner.

Tissue Paper Art Workshops
We are renowned for our tissue paper crafts, which we eagerly teach to our guests. In the pre-war years, this craft was popular in the Bieszczady Mountains – Orthodox churches, roadside shrines, and houses were decorated with tissue paper ornaments. It was Andrzej's grandmother who reminded him about tissue paper flowers. Initially, the workshops were intended as a rainy day activity, but the interest in them, thanks in part to Andrzej's commitment and sense of humor, exceeded our expectations. During the off-season, we meet for tissue paper workshops on Friday evenings, and during the season, we also meet on Tuesdays.
Ceramic Workshops
Our Bazyl pottery hosts ceramic workshops led by Dorota. We make Bieszczady angels, hearts, and anything else you can imagine. During the summer holidays, we invite you to ceramic workshops every Wednesday evening.
During the summer holidays and long weekends, tissue paper and ceramic workshops are free. You can also try your hand at pottery (for an additional fee).
Guided tours
Every Monday during your stay, we organize guided tours with a Bieszczady guide. The guide will tell you which places are most beautiful and interesting, organize a slide show, answer all your questions, and help you plan your trip.
If you're staying with us outside of holidays and long weekends, you can count on our help when planning your visits to the surrounding area and the Bieszczady Mountains.
Pasture tours
We invite you to a pasture in the former Bóbrka hamlet, Bazyle, where from May to November you can admire white, long-haired Carpathian goats and beautiful gray-fleeced Wrzosówka sheep. We also have a small apiary there, currently with five hives. You can drive to the pasture together in an off-road vehicle or take a walk.
You can spend a whole day around Bóbrka and never get bored. Here, we have water, mountains, and hiking and biking trails. Bóbrka is located on Lake Myczkowieckie, with a marina just a few minutes' walk away. You probably won't be able to swim in the lake, as the water is very cold, but you can sit on a bench or lie on the grass and admire the views from the beautiful, picturesque heart of one of the hills, enjoying the peace and quiet of this place.
In the immediate vicinity, we recommend:
- the Solina Dam (3 km) – a walk along the dam's crest and the opportunity to explore its interior,
- the Solina gondola lift with an observation tower and the "Mysterious Solina" amusement park. – the Myczkowce dam (3 km),
– Myczkowieckie Lake with a marina (300 m),
– Koziniec – a picturesque disused quarry with a viewing point,
– hiking and cycling trails,
– the Bieszczady Nordic Walking Center surrounding Lake Myczkowieckie,
– a stud farm with an indoor riding arena (3 km),
– the Bieszczady National Park Nature Museum in Ustrzyki Dolne (15 km),
– the indoor swimming pool in Ustrzyki Dolne (15 km) and the Aquarius swimming pool in Lesko (15 km),
– the open-air museum in Sanok (30 km),
– day trips to Slovakia and Hungary,
– ski lifts (Weremień 15 km, Ustrzyki Dolne 15 km),
– cross-country skiing trail in Ustjanowa.
You must know that our farm belongs to the National Network of Educational Farms coordinated by the Agricultural Advisory Center in Krakow. Out of season, we conduct educational classes for preschoolers, school children and teenagers. What does it mean? That we know how to entertain children. It's best to come to us on holiday with them, because it would be a terrible pity if they missed all the attractions we described above.
We have optical fiber, so you can work from here quickly and to your heart's content. In each of the rooms you will organize a space to work at the table. You can also make yourself comfortable in the dining room or fireplace room and, during breaks from work, go out to the terrace and look at the surrounding greenery.
