Welcome to the Land of 100 Lakes. Although, to be precise, it should be noted that there are over 120 lakes in the Międzychodzko-Sierakowskie Lake District. No wonder they sometimes call us Little Masuria. Located on the edge of the Notecka Forest, near the Warta River and boasting a history dating back to antiquity. During construction works, we excavated a Roman lime kiln and many artifacts proving ancient settlements there. We donated them to the museum in the Opaliński Castle, and we asked a local artist, Waldemar Kachel, to painstakingly use an ice ax to make copper sheets for our homes. We also go back into the past thanks to the boards from old barns and cottages that fill modern interiors. Four houses stand in a row, a few steps away from the shore of Lake Mierzyńskie, where the northern lights sometimes appear. We will not promise you that you will be able to admire it, but we will provide you with a soothing view of the water surface and direct access to it. We have a pier here where we can organize a massage, a jacuzzi full of bubbles, a kayak, a rowing boat, a SUP and bicycles for expeditions, and a sauna, after the session, where you can jump into the water!
Without beating around the bush: life is better by the lake. We have a lake in Mierzyn. And relaxation.
In the Land of 100 Lakes in Greater Poland, right on the shore of Lake Mierzyńskie, there are 4 wooden houses with terraces and large glazing facing the water surface. They are all named after the birds that call our area home.
The Crane and Kormoran houses are 50 m² in size and include: a bedroom with a double bed (180x200 cm) on the open mezzanine and a closed bedroom with a double bed on the ground floor (150x200 cm). Downstairs there is also a living room with a fold-out sofa connected to the kitchenette and a bathroom with a shower. The walls inside both houses are covered with boards obtained from old cottages and barns. These houses are dedicated to a maximum of 4 people.
The Swan and Heron houses are 70 m² and have two bedrooms on the first floor. One is open (there is a double bed 180x200 cm), the other is closed (there are three single beds). Downstairs there is a living room with a sofa and table, a separate kitchen and a bathroom with a shower. These houses are dedicated to a maximum of 5 people.
In each house you will have at your disposal:
– direct access to the terrace with a view of the lake and the garden,
– TV with access to Netflix,
- washing machine,
– underfloor heating and air conditioning with heating function.
As an option, we have prepared breakfast baskets for you based on local products. They cost PLN 300 and are enough for 2 days for 2-3 people or for 1 day for 4-5 people. They are full of goodness and diverse. If you would like to order them, please let us know in advance.
Upon arrival, contact us for directions to a local market with seasonal delicacies.
Lake Chill, as the name suggests, is a combination of proximity to the lake with relaxation, according to an unwritten thesis that is best verified empirically: life is better by the lake. We have some evidence to confirm it, waiting for you on site:
– access to the lake, where there is a pier, and the possibility of renting: SUP boards, rowing boats, bicycles, kayaks, pedal boats (the rental is also available on the main beach in Mierzyn),
– sauna heated by a wood-burning stove (located a few meters from the shore, after the session you can immediately immerse yourself in the lake),
– 6-person jacuzzi with a view of the lake,
– separate place for a bonfire,
– possibility of organizing a massage – there are many options, just ask, we will tell you about all of them.
Very close to the houses there is a forest full of mushrooms and a river during the season. There are 100 lakes in the area, as befits the Land of 100 Lakes, the closest one - Lake Mierzyńskie - will be right under your nose. You can walk around them along the edge of the escarpment (the distance is just over 3.5 km and it takes about 45 minutes). There is a city beach by the lake.
