Wooden huts were built for us by highlanders, nature took care of the rest. The rest is surrounded by hundred-year-old trees, a small lake with bubbling springs, the vicinity of the Bobrzy pool and a forest with so many mushrooms that it is difficult not to stumble over them in the season. Here we have the idyllic nature of the Świętokrzyskie countryside and the proximity of a city well connected with every part of the country. You can get here in two hours from Warsaw, two from Krakow, and two and a half from Lublin and Katowice. And here we could put a full stop, but it is impossible to miss: a floating terrace, hammocks in a birch grove and a sauna with warming properties. If that wasn't enough, you can still get up to the east or watch the sunset from our pulpit and marvel at the fact that hares, goats, sheep, colorful parrots, pheasants, squirrels and a cat are constantly in sight. They all live with us or in the vicinity. We invite you to a soothing relaxation among nature, intimate celebrations, cut off from the noise of the world and family holidays.
PS One of the houses has a terrace on the water, and two have saunas - all details can be found in the descriptions.
At the foot of Mount Ciosowa, on 2 hectares of green land, 12 km from Kielce, we have created an oasis of peace with 3 wooden huts. They stand around a small lake and are surrounded by a forest.
There are three huts, but one of them is a duplex. Each on the ground floor has a living room with a fireplace, a sofa and a TV, a kitchenette and a bathroom with a shower. There are bedrooms on the upper floor.
– The Lawendowa Cottage sleeps 8 (it has four 2-person bedrooms, each with a balcony), it also has a sauna with a view of the entire area and a wooden veranda by the lake shore.
– Chata Leśna is for 6 people (3 double bedrooms, each with a terrace), it has a sauna and a large terrace floating on the water.
– Chata Dębowa will host 10 people or two groups of 5 (in two bedrooms upstairs, 2- and 3-person).
Together, we have 24 beds, and the charming surroundings and space at our disposal make Sucholand a place for intimate parties and meetings (hen parties, birthdays, and even outdoor weddings).
Our area is fenced, 100 meters further there is a single-family house where we live.
We have a hideout for you surrounded by forest. With a fragrant meadow, a lake fed by gushing springs and trees, some of which have a hundred on their necks. In such an environment, you can confidently indulge in relaxation, as well as:
– swing on a hammock in a birch grove,
– light a bonfire and prepare dinner on the grill (each hut has its own space for a bonfire),
– get up to the east or watch the sunset from the pulpit by the pond,
– take a walk in the meadow or go to the forest for mushroom picking,
– smoke a sausage (in a home smokehouse),
– observe animals, of which there is a whole wealth here – from rabbits, goats and sheep we keep, to pheasants, storks and hares hopping around the meadow,
– serve meals on the terrace, porch or outdoors,
– practice serves on the green pitch.
The Lawendowa and Leśna cottages have a sauna on the first floor with a view of the greenery.
Nearby, 7 km from us, there is a sports and recreation center where you can go to the swimming pool or sauna. There is a reservoir next to it, where you can rent kayaks and pedal boats.
Hiking red trail them. Edmund Massalski, will lead you to Stone Circles in Ćmińsk Kościelne. It is a nature reserve located on a vast hill - Góra Grodowa, which is part of the hills of the Tumlińskie Range, and is adjacent to the active Tumlin-Gród quarry, where red Tumlin sandstones from the Triassic period (over 250 million years old) are mined. Over 1000 years ago, Góra Grodowa was one of the three places of pagan worship in the Świętokrzyskie Mountains (next to Łysa Góra and Góra Dobrzeszowska), and the stone circles are proof of the existence of a pagan cult center in this place.
In Oblębork, there is a museum of Henryk Sienkiewicz, surrounded by an English-style park, designed by a gardener, Franciszek Szanior, the founder of the Ujazdowski and Skaryszewski parks and the designer of the green areas of the Służewiec horse racing track in Warsaw.
In Ćmińsk, you can visit the late-Renaissance church of the Holy Trinity, next to which there is a statue of St. John of Nepomuk from 1779.
In Bobrza in 1824, a blast furnace plant with 5 blast furnaces was built. Forges in these areas were established in the 16th century, where they produced, among others, cannons and artillery balls. Today, you can see there the remains of the largest blast-furnace complex in the Staropolska Industrial District: houses, a housing estate for plant employees, the house of the steelworks supervisor, outbuildings, a production hall, the ruins of a coal mine and a retaining wall about half a kilometer long and a maximum height of 15 meters. In Samsonów, you will see the ruins of the Józef ironworks, whose construction was initiated by Stanisław Staszic.
In Kielce, drop by the Botanical Garden and the Ślichowice rock reserve, the first geological reserve in Poland - there is an educational path there.
Winter is primarily 9 ski resorts with 17 lifts, but also a fairy-tale land, which Sucholand turns into. We can organize a sleigh ride for you, ending with a bonfire with baked potatoes and warming tea.
What’s there for children?
Children are happy here because they have space, animals and a pond where you can go boating. You will have to keep an eye on the little ones, because access to the water is open.
Children are waiting for us:
– a playground with a small house,
– a green pitch where you can play football, volleyball or dodgeball,
– bird watching (including pheasants, colorful parrots and storks that have a nest here) – it is worth throwing binoculars in your suitcase, and choose a pulpit that stands by the pond as an observation point,
– meetings with animals (sheep, goats and a cat live here, wild ducks and squirrels come to visit).
