Chata Morgany – my little forest

We invite you to a magical cottage in a birch forest right on Lake Dobrskie. It's a good place for holidays with kids or for two. The house is located 2 hours from Gdańsk and 3 hours from Szczecin and allows you to completely forget yourself in the proximity of nature. Morgana's Cottage has: – a living room with a fireplace and 2 sofa beds, – kitchenette open to the living room, – a mezzanine with a sleeping mattress for 2 people, – a bathroom with a bathtub and a shower head. Our intimate, year-round house will host you in 4 people: 2 sleeping on the mezzanine and 2 on the sofa in the living room. If you would like to come with 5 or 6 people, it is also possible, although it would be much more comfortable with fewer guests - this is a solution at your own risk. In this configuration, 1 person sleeps on a 1-person narrow sofa (140 cm), and the other on an inflatable mattress in the living room. There are 5 houses on our street, all of which are summer houses. It's very peaceful here. On the left you will have a neighbor, Mr. Kazimierz, who is very helpful and kind. Don't worry about peace and privacy. All pets are welcome with us, just keep in mind that there is (almost permanently) a visiting kitten called Parówka, who spends most of his time in the greenhouse. If your dogs do not get along with cats or you are allergic, this is important information. There is a blanket for the dog on site, washed each time, a wicker container for the cat, there is also a large cage (approx. 110 cm long) for the dog if you need such a solution.

Our pride is a small greenhouse that we created ourselves. Help yourself to the juicy vegetables you can pick there: we have cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, radishes, dill, carrots and beets. Or maybe you'll have a barbecue? A grill and a place for a bonfire are waiting for you in front of the house. The kitchenette is equipped with an induction hob and an electric oven with a grill function. Our guests are always greeted by a fresh cake baked by the hostess helping us. Our little dream is to sell local products produced by our friends: a small shelf with them is already waiting for you in the garden. There you will find syrups, preserves and jams that you can buy. If you need support in the form of food prepared by someone else's hands, because it is known that you may not want to cook while on vacation, the nearest is a nice Food Truck in Dobra. The thing about it is that sometimes it's there and sometimes it's not, so it's worth keeping that in mind. For a decent dinner, you can go to Słupsk (30 minutes away), where you will find several tasty restaurants and one sweet pastry shop. The nearest grocery store is 6 minutes away. by bicycle.

The best thing to do here is nothing. Morgana's cottage is located in an area where the biggest attraction is the proximity of the lake and the forest, the silence is disturbed only by bird and frog concerts, and the internet is barely hula. It's very easy to forget here. Take a loved one or a few with you, turn off your phones and come stay in nature, in the idyllic surroundings of our house with a bit of magic. On site we recommend: – spend time in a tub with bubbles (included in the price of your stay, but if you stay for more than a week, it is best to replace the water with fresh water – then we will charge you 50 PLN), – read books from our large library, – swing in a hammock between the trees, – play chess or checkers, – play foosball matches (they are in… the greenhouse), - play badminton, – pick vegetables in the greenhouse and look after the garden (only if you feel like it), – practice yoga on the terrace – the mat is waiting. There are 4 bikes at your disposal: a lady's bike, a mountain bike, a medium bike for a teenager and a small bike for a child of about 5 years old. There are pleasant paths through the forest, which you can go on a trip. Chata Morgany is located about 100 m from Lake Dobrskie. The shore on our side is wild, sometimes someone is spreading over it, but it may be nicer on the other side. Our friendly, very helpful neighbors from Agroturystyka Pod Kasztanem have a beach with a pier. You can rent kayaks, pedal boats or boats from them. You can also buy a fishing card and go fishing. Dobra, from which we are located a few hundred meters away, is a very intimate summer resort where not much happens. There is no developed tourist infrastructure in these areas, which has its great charm. You can do your shopping here in the village shop, and the only food truck on the lake sometimes stands on it and sometimes not. Our small dream is to contribute to the development of local tourism in the spirit of slow in cooperation with our neighbors. We believe that our Morgana Cottage is a place that brings a bit of magic and a lot of good energy to these parts.
