After breathing new life into the house on Chrobrego Street, we started working on a workshop and garage found on Olx, located on the neighboring Spacerowa Street. Both are in a town where the distance to lakes with azure water is counted in steps, the panorama can be seen from the observation tower of the Knights Hospitaller Castle, and the most convenient way to get to the nearest landscape park is by bike. This is what Łagów Lubuski is like, an enclave of beauty and peace for seven (although including the couch, nine can fit) willing to go to wild beaches, jump from a rope swinging above the surface, walks through vineyards, taste local wine, SUP-ing, relax with a book. on a deck chair on the patio and having feasts in the open air. We took care of aesthetic delights and an atmosphere that would take you to Tuscany. We created the interiors based on refined and recovered furniture and objects that we passionately collect, and our pride is the double doors, found locally, in every room. They take you a bit to another world where you will feel simply beautiful.
We restored this house found on olx with tenderness and turned it from a garage-workshop into an aesthetic enclave of peace. You will find it in the center of Łagów Lubuski, a charming town immersed in nature, located on the edge of the Łagów-Sulęciński Landscape Park, between Ciecz and Łagowskie lakes. We fenced off our space to make it safe for children and animals, but above all, to give you as much privacy as possible.
You can come to Spacerowa with up to nine people. The house has 120 m² and three separate bedrooms with double beds (two on the first floor, accessed by a narrow and quite steep staircase, and one on the ground floor).
The exact distribution of sleeping places:
– a bedroom with a 160 cm wide bed on the ground floor,
– a bedroom with a 180 cm wide bed and an extra bed for one person,
– a bedroom with a 180 cm wide bed with a full-wall window and a small balcony.
Each bedroom has a bathroom with a shower. The fourth bathroom is located on the ground floor next to the living room, where there is a sofa bed (an additional two people can sleep on it). There is also a kitchenette and dining area on the ground floor, which opens onto the garden patio. The area in front of the house is small, but you can set up sunbeds there and have breakfast at the table.
Our place will be perfect for family and friendly groups, and is also open to visits by your pets (the area is fenced).
It is obvious that during the holidays you do not have to worry about what to have for dinner, but where to go for this dinner. To make things easier for you, we recommend our favorites:
– Ogrod Smaków (less than 200 m from the house) – a restaurant with a beautiful garden, located by the lake (the views are perfect for dinner!),
– Stolarnia Cafe for coffee and desserts that are worth every calorie,
– Forest Supper Club in the village (actually in the forest) of Zamęt – a fantastic initiative of meetings at the table in the bosom of nature (they also organize walks and workshops). Follow their FB!
– we also recommend visits to the surrounding vineyards, because Lubuskie is a real winemaking power – tastings are organized, for example, by the Vineyard under the Lubuskie Sun, located 18 km from us.
From the restaurants located a bit further, we recommend you:
– Leniwka restaurant (Leniwka 1, Stary Młyn), 30 km from us,
– Inn on the Peninsula (Wysoka 45), 22 km.
We invite you to the town, located between two lakes - Łagowskie and Ciecz, where in a few steps you will reach lakes, beaches and piers, from which you can jump headfirst and on the bomb. Where you can be very quiet and peaceful, and you can be in full swing. Where local wine is tasted, a walk to the castle, and the eyes rest, bathing in greenery. It is good to live here and to rest well.
Lakes & Water Sports
Ciecz and Łagowskie lakes are azure, unearthly beautiful, clean and both are located three steps from us. We have only a few minutes on foot to the beaches on the lakes. We recommend the beaches at Lake Łagowskie in the Leśnik and Mundi Park resorts. Wild beaches dominate Lake Cicz. You can sunbathe with a book, fry yourself on a craw (which we do not recommend), jump on a bomb from the pier into the water or from a rope swinging over the depths.
We recommend you to rent a pedalo, SUP board or kayak (you can rent them in several places) and create a "portable" beach base on the water. The shoreline of Lake Trześniowskie is over 12 km of swimming, and Lake Łagowskie is about 7 km - the lakes are connected by a canal, so you can relax, dive and sunbathe on the water from morning to sunset.
Vineyards
Local wines are a matter of course in the Lubuskie region. The tradition of vineyards in this region dates back to the Middle Ages. Visit the Lubuskie Wine Center in Zaborze, where you can learn about the history. In the immediate vicinity there are also the Vineyard Pod Lubuskim Slonem or the Folwark Pszczew Vineyard, where you can go for tastings and walks through the vineyards. In May, the Lubuski Festival of Open Cellars and Vineyards takes place.
Landscape Parks
For lovers of hiking and nature, we recommend hiding in the Landscape Parks: Łagów-Sulęciński, in the buffer zone of which our house is located; Gryżyński (25 km from us) and Pszczewski (45 km from us) - these are the closest ones to us, and from a little further we recommend the amazing Ujście Warty National Park (approx. 70 km from us). Being there, you can also see the surprising medieval chapel of the Templar Order in Chwarszczany (now a Catholic church).
What else?
– the Łagów Lubuski Rope Park operates in the town (it's great!) – both kids and adults will have fun!
– kayaking on the Paklica River, organized by the Martinez company,
– Kimana ranch in Łagówek, where you will jump into the saddle,
– cycling around the area (you can rent two wheels at Sikorków) – we have kilometers of forest paths leading around the lakes,
– a unique attraction of Łagów is the castle – a remnant of the commandery of the Joannites, with an observation tower worth climbing to see the panorama of the area,
– in June, the Łagów Festival of Brass Bands takes place in Łagów – with concerts and tastings,
– for lovers of history – Międzyrzecki Fortified Region (Ostwall) in Pniewo, i.e. a system of bunkers and fortifications created in the 1930s by the Germans to protect the eastern border,
– for stressed people – whisper to us that you need it and we will organize a relaxing massage for you,
– the oldest Polish film festival – Lubuskie Film Summer, may be a treat for moviegoers,
– and when you really, really, really miss the city, you can take a trip to Berlin, which is only 160 km away.
