I came back from my last trip around the world with a suitcase and a firm decision to create a home. My aunt came to the rescue, selling her almost 100-year-old log cabin, standing at the threshold of the Beskid Wyspowy. Today, it is a home for the elderly with lots of family furniture - grandparents' bathtubs, forgotten oak doors or grandma's doors. Up to 8 guests who need to catch a breath from life can sleep in two bedrooms and a living room. You can hide in a wild garden here, eat delicious bread from Żegocina, but also jump over the lagoon or climb the observation tower. Although in my opinion the best views are still from the terrace.
I invite you home with good energy. Maybe you too will find your Roots here.
On a 40-are plot surrounded by old trees, there is an almost 100-year-old house that once belonged to my aunt. Today, after a 3-year renovation, I am opening it to guests.
The house consists of two bedrooms, a living room, a bathroom, a kitchen and a hall with access to the terrace. Inside you will find a lot of artistic elements - my pictures, ceramics, as well as souvenirs from numerous travels. I also renewed old family decorations so that they could live on :)
Thanks to the trees, there is a climate of complete privacy and isolation from the world. The plot is fenced with a low forest net, so if you have a dog with a tendency to wander, you must keep an eye on him here despite the fence.
The house has a spacious kitchen, and the terrace invites you to eat outdoors. However, we are not at the end of the world, so if you do not want to cook, there are plenty of restaurants in the area. I also highly recommend shopping at local producers - a detailed list is provided below.
This is a house to cut off from the world. Swinging on a hammock, you can forget that only 40 km away is Krakow with its big-city rush. You can hide in here, turn off your phones, but be mindful. I provide you with deckchairs, hammocks, comfortable sofas, a terrace with a view of the garden and a place for a bonfire. I can also give you the names of local masseuses.
There is a bicycle trail in the area. Żeleński, the trails of the Beskid Wyspowy begin. I recommend a pleasant hike to the nearby Grodziec hill or the entrance (but with earlier access) to the observation tower on Kamionna. In Łapanów you will find a lagoon - with numerous courts and pitches, free of charge. And in Nieznanowice - Kuter Port, i.e. a restaurant, fishery and SPA zone.

What’s there for children?
Children will surely enjoy the large garden with old trees, which is a natural playground. There is a lot of space here to play tag or hide and seek. Facilities in the form of e.g. a sandbox are planned :)
In the area, you can drive to the lagoon in Łapanów, where you will find beaches and numerous sports fields. Heading in the other direction, you will find yourself on the paths of the Beskid Wyspowy.
What’s there for employees?
I share the Internet, tables and a view that makes the eyes rest :)
