At a glance
We arrived in Czernica looking for a small house with a garden and a large garage for Darek, who renovates, repairs, and, above all, builds new motorcycles. We ended up with a huge 800 m² house, an even larger barn (800 m² on three levels), and an additional house. We've been renovating our homestead for five years now, doing almost all the work ourselves. These same hands prepare delicious meals for you based on regional products and bake fresh bread with a crisp crust. All you have to do is enjoy the silence, interrupted by the purring of our numerous cats and the sounds of apples falling from the trees. Our homestead is surrounded by an orchard over 100 years old, where the shapes of apple, plum, cherry, and chokeberry trees have been beautifully carved by the passage of time. Relaxing in the orchard on a hammock, you can reflect on the history of this place. The dates we found on the building's elements indicate that the house was built in 1856, but the appearance of the basement walls suggests that the foundations are much older. Before the Second World War, it was one of the largest farms in the area. Today, it houses atmospheric apartments, from which you can set off to explore Lower Silesia or simply stay put – that's how good it is here.

Iza – graduated from the Medical Academy in Wrocław, academic lecturer at the Medical University of the Piast dynasty in Wrocław and at the Witelon Collegium in Legnica, lover of animals, plants and gardening. Darek – graduated from the Academy of Physical Education and the Academy of Economics in Wrocław. For years he worked as a sales manager. Passionate about motorcycles, dealing with their customization and reconstruction for years.
