You won't find Kołczewo on Wolin Island. We had a weakness for Międzyzdroje, where we went on vacation throughout our childhood. But you know how it is - Misdroy today is not the city from years ago. We wanted something quieter. During one vacation, our neighbor drew on a napkin how to get to the most beautiful wild beach in the area, and with that napkin we went towards the Kikut lighthouse. From there, we walked by accident to Kołczew, where a 100-year-old mill with blue shutters was put up for sale. We're gone! We bought it, there was no end to the renovation, and then it happened: it turned out that we had the friendliest neighbors in the world who immediately invited us to Neighbor's Day. They said we inherited this privilege from the previous owner. We discovered that a heron likes to wade in the overgrown stream and that almost all cyclists stop near our fence, open their mouths and ask "what is that?" That Mrs. Maria cooks the best cucumber soup in the village, and Kasia bakes outstanding bread. One guest ordered 40 of them before leaving and that's not a joke. It takes 40 minutes to walk through the forest to watch the sunset, but it's worth it because you go through the Wolin National Park. That a white-tailed eagle soars just above our house. It's true that wild beaches are the most beautiful, but sometimes no one wants to leave the pool. You can do that too.

And we left the napkin as a souvenir.

Kołczewo is a summer resort on the island of Wolin, right next to the Wolin National Park. The EuroVelo 10 bicycle route runs here, 3 km to the beach, and forests around. We are located in a Natura 2000 area.

Our mill is perfect for family holidays, reunions, and stays with a group of friends. It has:
– common area with kitchen and living room with fireplace on the ground floor,
– 5 bedrooms with double beds on the 1st floor,
– 1 bedroom with 2 beds at the top of the mill (loved by young people),
– 4 bathrooms with a shower, 1 with a shower and a bathtub, 2 toilets,
– “hell” in the basement, i.e. the entertainment area (table football, darts, sauna),
– terrace at a height of 2 m with a view of the gray heron by the stream,
– garden with a heated swimming pool.

PS We don't say no to small celebrations, e.g. a birthday or an important anniversary, but remember to celebrate in a small way.

Welcome baskets with delicacies await all our guests. You will find there, among others: homemade cake or buns and fresh bread baked by our friend Kasia. If you would like to order more of her baked goods during your stay, no problem.

In the book of recommendations that will be waiting for you on site, we provide addresses of places where you can eat tasty food or buy something good in the area (e.g. fresh fish at the fish market in Dziwnów).

When asked about what is in Kołczewo, we can say - there is Kołczewo in Kołczewo. People associate it with the church tower, the old mill and the nice golf course 1.5 km away. There is a lake, a Natura 2000 area, and behind the forest - the sea. Nothing happens. Is beautifully.

BEACHES
Two picturesque wild beaches are located approximately 3 km from here. You will reach them through the forests of the Wolin National Park. You can get there by bike in 12 minutes, by car in 3 minutes, and on foot from the mill gate in 40 minutes. There is a forest parking lot within the park. The beach on the right (Świętouść) has a gentle descent and will be good for everyone, the one on the left (Mała Wisełka/Molkowo) is a picturesque but more difficult walk, the descent is steeper. It will not be suitable for older people or small children.

BICYCLES
We are an ideal place for those who love cycling, and you can start the trip by opening the gate. The EuroVelo 10 route runs right behind our fence, leading along half of the Polish coast. It will take you to the forest, to a wild beach, to a lake, to Świnoujście or to Ahlbeck in Germany. However, don't worry about peace - it's not like there are hordes of cyclists riding here. It's nice to sit on the terrace and watch them.

SWIMMING POOL
We heat it to a temperature of 30° from May to September/October (depending on how warm the year is).

LAKES
Sometimes we say that it is a small Masuria: there are 7 lakes in the area. You can take a nice walk along the shore of Lake Kołczewo in search of beavers. At Lake Wisełka, 4 km from here, you can rent kayaks and pedal boats.

GOLF COURSE
You can walk to the beautifully situated Amber Baltic Golf Club golf course with an area of 66 ha.

AT LOCATION
In the basement of the house there is a place we call "hell". There you will find games (darts, table football), comfortable sofas, a TV, and a bookcase.

BERLIN
You can get to Berlin in about 3 hours, and it's impossible to get bored there. The best galleries, interesting architecture, great restaurants are waiting for you, and you can take a trip from Kołczewo even for one day.

Moreover, our greatest attractions are of a simple nature. When it rains, you put on wellies and go to the forest, in winter you sit under a blanket by the fireplace, in autumn you pick mushrooms, and in summer you listen to frog concerts and watch birds.

The swimming pool is full of happiness for children! They are happy to go to the seaside and then spend the whole day there. You can watch from the terrace and make sure everyone is safe. In the area you will also find many attractions suitable for small trips with children.

It will be easy for you to find a place to work. The dining room with a large table is a good place for team workshops, and you can find a secluded corner for private calls in one of the bedrooms.
