Forget about scout camps and bivouacs. Or not: keep them in mind as a reference, but make room for completely new memories. The idea of glamping enchanted us during our holidays in Madeira and we decided to check whether it would be as beautiful on a forest lake in Poland as on an ocean island. And because when we do something, we do it with heart and panache, Freedolina quickly became the apple of our eye. 90 km from Zielona Góra and 100 km from Poznań, we have created a very comfortable complex for people who like nature and other people. We treat everyone who visits our glamping site as a member of the freedolin community. We focus on relationships and nurture them as carefully as the area in which you find yourself. We want to provide you with unforgettable experiences. We bake fresh bread every morning, cook with local products, we have a hot tub, sauna and water equipment included in the price, and you will rest no worse in our tents than in a hotel. In fact, you'll rest better because you'll be in the open air. We invite you to our holiday village, where together with you we are writing a new history of camping.
Our glamping site is located on the border of Wielkopolska and Lubuskie, near the Sierakowski Landscape Park. You probably haven't rested in this area yet. We love it because it is still undiscovered - there are many beautiful lakes and forests around, but few tourists.
Freedolina consists of 8 tents, as well as a cottage by the beach.
We have 4 small tents (Tent) and 4 large ones (Safari). Both the tents and the cottage have heating for colder days.
Tent
- for 2 people,

- they have a terrace over the water,
- everyone has a private bathroom with a shower in a nearby shelter,
- the tents on the water are relatively close to each other (take a look at the photos).
Safari
- up to 5 people,
- stand on the shore of the lake,
- in front of the tent a veranda with garden furniture,
- it offers a view of Lake Dormowskie,
- a 2-person bed, a sofa and an extra bed in the form of a fold-out armchair,
- kitchenette and living area,
- at the back of each bathroom with a shower.
Beach house
- overlooking the lake,
- for 2 people,
- one-room: double bed, table with chairs, bathroom, and in front of the house a terrace for relaxation
- LIMITED INTIMACY - located next to the beach, hot tub with jacuzzi and sauna
A stay at glamping has little in common with sleeping in a tent, which you remember from your scouting days. We have made sure that you can relax really comfortably. Our tents are cosily furnished, have comfortable oak beds and interiors finished so that you feel at home here. Soft towels, bathrobes and natural cosmetics await you.
In addition to the tents, you will find all the infrastructure for your comfort and relaxation: a dining room under the tent, lounges with sofas and tables, deckchairs, a jetty, a shared kitchen, a place for a bonfire or a vegetable garden and a greenhouse, which you can safely use. However, although we tried to make it at the highest level, all of this has a homely charm and does not bear the signs of a tourist complex. We live next door, we are always on site, and Freedolina is the apple of our eye. Your needs are most important to us - you can always contact us and ask for help. We are happy to integrate with our guests and take care of a good atmosphere at the glamping site.
We have 4 nice dogs: Urus, Luna, Benia and Fala, who like both people and other animals. If your charges have a similar attitude, don't be afraid and feel free to invite them for an unforgettable vacation in Freedolin.
We sometimes accept groups, e.g. for quiet hen parties. Each time we inform other guests about it and you can decide for yourself whether you would like to relax at the same time.
We love to feed you. Our buffet breakfasts, priced at 70 PLN per person, are designed to be varied, flavorful, and healthy. Our first guests agree that they're delicious! We rely on regional produce: we source our farm cheeses, eggs, and cold cuts from local suppliers, our vegetables and fruit come from our own farms, and we bake our own bread. In addition to the buffet breakfast, you'll also find something warm for breakfast every day: banana pancakes, crepes, scrambled eggs with mushrooms, and sausages. Both vegetarians and meat-eaters will enjoy our delicious meals.
Our dinner, priced at 120 PLN, is a true feast. We'll serve you an appetizer, soup, main course, and dessert. We admit that the portions are generous, but our guests often leave some for later. Meals are served in the dining room under the shelter.
The Safari Tents have their own kitchenette, and it's not even that basic. If you prefer to cook your own meals, that's absolutely possible. The kitchenette includes a sink, refrigerator, stovetop, and electric kettle. Tableware, pots, and glasses are provided. Nothing is missing.
We've opened a shared kitchen for our Tent guests. Forget about camp kitchens, ours could even be a chef's kitchen! A 6-burner stovetop, toaster, electric kettle, and coffee makers will satisfy all your cooking needs and whims. A gas grill is also available outside.
We invite you to the water – get bored, spend time in nature, forget about stress in the bubbles of the sauna, and get some exercise. Meet some great people, meet some lovely dogs, and maybe even get to know yourself a little better? Peaceful days surrounded by nature await you, filled with plenty of fun and attractions.
Freedolina is located in the forest on Lake Dormowskie, to which we have direct access. We've prepared a small sandy beach for you, where you can stretch out and sunbathe. If you prefer something different, a terrace with loungers awaits right next to it. The slope to the lake is very gentle and safe, even for those who aren't familiar with swimming.
But if instead of lazing on a lounger, you'd rather get moving, you'll also find plenty of water sports equipment on site. We have a SUP, a rowboat, two pedal boats, and a kayak. All this equipment is included in the price of your stay.
Besides the price, there's a great thing: a boat you can use to cruise the lake. It has its own barbecue and hot tub, making it perfect for social gatherings, such as hen parties. A 1-2-hour cruise costs 300 PLN.
There's a beach bar on the beach, usually open from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, where we can invite you for a glass of bubbles.
On the pier near the beach house, you'll find a hot tub and sauna, available to all our guests free of charge. To help you plan your stay, we've set up a signboard where guests can sign up for specific viewing times.
If hedonistic experiences aren't enough for you, we can also arrange a massage therapist. Massages take place in a shelter near the lake, covered with curtains, so you can easily experience nature in complete relaxation.
We're happy to organize outdoor summer cinema for you, and the only limitations are the sunset time and the Netflix selection. When there are a lot of guests, we choose the film democratically through voting, but sometimes, if a group is really interested in a particular screening, they can organize it themselves.
We'll be honest: our guests are reluctant to leave the Freedolina area. The gravel road leading to us is more demanding than the paved road, and this fact alone is a reason not to go anywhere. There's everything you need for a relaxing break, and even more.
However, if you'd like to take a short trip, choose the Regional and Nature Education Center in Mniszki. It's a very interesting place for those interested in the region's history or simply those who enjoy a rural atmosphere. Besides seeing the historic farm complex and exhibits showcasing, for example, old professions, you can also participate in nature-related activities and tours of the area, handicraft workshops, and enjoyable events like the Mniszki Weekend or jam-making.
We sometimes host families with children, although this is not a space specially prepared for children. We do not have infrastructure here in the form of a playground or other attractions. The greatest fun for children is the water - the descent to the lake by the beach is gentle, so they can splash around in safe circumstances, under your supervision, of course.
We also encourage you to enjoy our harvests: in the flower beds and in the greenhouse, vegetables and fruits are just waiting to be picked!
If you thought that glamping is not a good place to work, we will have to surprise you - in Freedolin you can work from the water, from a deckchair, but also from a couch or, as in a cafe, at a table. We noted that the internet is average, because it happens to be interrupted when fully occupied. However, we have working guests here and if you don't want the network to operate at the speed of light, you can easily organize a forest office.
