Forget about scout camps and bivouacs. Or not: keep them in mind as a reference, but make room for completely new memories. The idea of glamping enchanted us during our holidays in Madeira and we decided to check whether it would be as beautiful on a forest lake in Poland as on an ocean island. And because when we do something, we do it with heart and panache, Freedolina quickly became the apple of our eye. 90 km from Zielona Góra and 100 km from Poznań, we have created a very comfortable complex for people who like nature and other people. We treat everyone who visits our glamping site as a member of the freedolin community. We focus on relationships and nurture them as carefully as the area in which you find yourself. We want to provide you with unforgettable experiences. We bake fresh bread every morning, cook with local products, we have a hot tub, sauna and water equipment included in the price, and you will rest no worse in our tents than in a hotel. In fact, you'll rest better because you'll be in the open air. We invite you to our holiday village, where together with you we are writing a new history of camping.
Our glamping is located on the edge of Wielkopolska and Lubuskie, near the Sierakowski Landscape Park. You probably haven't rested in this area yet. We love it precisely because it is still undiscovered - there are many beautiful lakes and forests around, but few tourists.
Freedolina consists of 8 tents as well as a beach house.
We have 4 small tents (Tent) and 4 large ones (Safari). Both tents and chalet have heating for colder days.
Awning

– everyone has a private bathroom with a shower in a nearby shed,
– the tents on the water are relatively close to each other (look at the photos).
Safari
– up to 5 people,
– they are standing on the shore of the lake,
– veranda with garden furniture in front of the tent,
- it overlooks Lake Dormowskie,
– 2-person bed, sofa and extra bed in the form of a fold-out armchair,
– kitchenette and living room area,
– at the back of each room there is a bathroom with a shower.
Beach house
– with a view of the lake,
- for 2 people,
– one-room: double bed, table with chairs, bathroom, and a terrace in front of the house to relax.
A stay at glamping has little in common with sleeping in a tent as you remember from your scouting days. We made sure that you had a really comfortable stay. Our tents are cozy, with comfortable oak beds and interiors finished to make you feel at home. Soft towels, bathrobes and natural cosmetics are waiting for you.
In addition to the tents, you will find all the infrastructure for your comfort and relaxation: a dining room under the tent, shelters with sofas and tables, deckchairs, a pier, a shared kitchen, a fireplace, a vegetable garden and a greenhouse, all of which you can feel free to use. However, although we tried to make it at the highest level, it has a home-style feel and does not bear the hallmarks of a tourist complex. We live next door, we are always there, and Freedolina is the apple of our eye. Your needs are the most important to us - you can contact us at any time and ask for help. We are happy to integrate with our guests and ensure a good atmosphere at glamping.
We have 4 nice dogs: Urus, Luna, Benia and Fala, who like both people and other animals. If your pupils have a similar attitude, do not be afraid and feel free to invite them to an unforgettable holiday in Freedolin.
We sometimes host groups, e.g. for quiet hen parties. Each time we inform other guests about this and you can decide for yourself whether you want to rest on the same date.
We like to feed you. We prepare buffet breakfasts to be varied, aromatic and healthy. The first guests admit that it is delicious! We rely on regional products: we buy country cheese, eggs and cold meats from local suppliers, vegetables and fruits come from our farms, and we bake our own bread. In addition to the buffet breakfast, there is something warm waiting for you every day: banana pancakes, pancakes, scrambled eggs with mushrooms, sausages. Both vegetarians and those who eat meat will enjoy delicious meals here.
Dinner for PLN 120 is a real treat. We will serve you an appetizer, soup, main course and dessert. We admit that the portions are large, but our guests are happy to save some for later. Meals will be served in the dining room under the shelter.
Safari tents have their own kitchenette, and it's not that basic. If you prefer to cook your own food, it is absolutely possible. The kitchenette has a sink, fridge, stove and electric kettle. There is tableware, pots and glasses. Nothing is missing.
We have opened a shared kitchen for Tent guests. Forget about the camp kitchen, ours could even accommodate a chef! 6-burner stove, toaster, electric kettle, coffee machines - you can cope with various kitchen needs and whims. There is also a gas grill waiting for you outside.
We invite you to the water - get bored, stay in nature, forget about stress in the bubbles of the sauna and move around a bit. Meet cool people, cool dogs, and maybe even get to know yourself a little better? Peaceful days in nature await you, during which you will not lack pleasure and attractions.
Freedolina is located in the forest on Lake Dormowskie, to which we have direct access. We have prepared for you a small sandy beach where you can lie down and sunbathe. If you prefer otherwise - there is a terrace with sun loungers right next to it. The descent to the lake is very gentle and will be safe even for people who are not into swimming for your brother.
But if instead of lazing on a deckchair, you like to move around a bit, you will also find a lot of water equipment on site. We have a SUP for you, a rowing boat, 2 pedal boats and a kayak. All this equipment is included in the price of your stay.
In addition to the price, there is a great thing: a barge that you can go on a cruise on the lake. It has its own grill and a hot water tub and is great for social events, e.g. hen parties. A cruise of about 1-2 hours costs PLN 200.
There is a beach bar by the beach, which is usually open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 6 to 10 p.m., where we can invite you there, for example, for bubbles in a glass.
On the pier near the beach house there is a hot tub and sauna available to all our guests free of charge. To get along, we have prepared a board where guests sign up for specific hours of screenings.
If the hedonistic experience is not enough for you, we can invite a masseuse to the place. Massages take place in a shelter near the lake, covered with curtains, so contact with nature makes it easy to achieve complete relaxation.
We are happy to organize an outdoor summer cinema for you, and the only thing that limits us is the hour of sunset and the Netflix offer. When there are a lot of guests, we choose the film democratically by voting, but it also happens that if the group really wants to see a certain screening, they can organize it among themselves.
We'll be honest: our guests are reluctant to leave Freedolina. There is a gravel road leading to us, the access to which is more demanding than the asphalt one, and this fact alone is an argument not to go anywhere. There is everything you need to rest and even more.
However, if you would like to take a small trip, choose the Regional and Nature Education Center in Mniszki. It is a very interesting place for those interested in the history of the region, as well as those who simply like idyllic atmosphere. In addition to the fact that you can see the historic farm complex and exhibitions showing e.g. old professions, you can also take part in nature classes and sightseeing of the area, handicraft workshops and nice events such as the Mniszka Weekend or joint frying of jam.
What’s there for children?
We sometimes host families with children, although this is not a space specially prepared for children. We do not have infrastructure here in the form of a playground or other attractions. The greatest fun for children is the water - the descent to the lake by the beach is gentle, so they can splash around in safe circumstances, under your supervision, of course.
We also encourage you to enjoy our harvests: in the flower beds and in the greenhouse, vegetables and fruits are just waiting to be picked!
What’s there for employees?
If you thought that glamping is not a good place to work, we will have to surprise you - in Freedolin you can work from the water, from a deckchair, but also from a couch or, as in a cafe, at a table. We noted that the internet is average, because it happens to be interrupted when fully occupied. However, we have working guests here and if you don't want the network to operate at the speed of light, you can easily organize a forest office.
