All those who want to sleep differently: we have for you the oldest wooden fishing boat in Poland, the only one preserved from its series: the KFK B25 model, launched in 1957 under the name GDY-50. He sailed with my grandfather Tadek Drelicharz on the North and Baltic Seas. You may know the cutter as Bar Pomorza, moored in Gdynia at Kościuszko Square. For a quarter of a century, it attracted crowds of fish and chips fans. In the dining room below deck, many people danced many nights and sang shanties. Now it's time for a well-deserved retirement in slow release, in the Fishing Port in Puck. We converted a fish bar into a house on the water, preserving the wooden decking remembering long-distance expeditions. We added a hot tub and sauna with views of the water, sailboats, surfers, sunrises and sunsets. Three cabins provide 10 beds, and there are relaxation areas both on the deck (maybe yoga?) and below it (or maybe a movie screening?). Me, Kuba and our dog Adara are writing further chapters of the almost 70-year history of the cutter. Join us.
Ahoy, Adventure!
Welcome to the house on the water, created on the boards of an old wooden fishing boat that moored in Puck. On 120 meters, we have created a space for 10 people, who can enjoy: a sauna, a jacuzzi, a gas grill and a cinema room.
The captain's cabin is a 4-person bedroom on deck that is located on a mezzanine level and overlooks the bay. There is a bed with a view on three sides of the world, a fold-out sofa, a coffee table and a set of board games. On this level there are also: a bathroom with a shower, a lounge set and hammocks, a kitchen and a ladder leading to the sea.
Under the basement there are 2 double bedrooms:
The pirates' cabin with two single beds, a wardrobe and a sako bag, and the fishermen's cabin with a double bed, a wardrobe and a large mirror. On this level there are also: a second bathroom, a living room with a sofa and a projector, a kitchen with a bar and a dining room.
During the renovation, which we carried out ourselves, we made sure not to lose the soul of the ship, but to equip the space with modern solutions (such as air conditioning). We also retained elements remembering the North Sea cruises (the plating and the original sheet metal behind the glass).
Gather your team (human and animal) and come!
There are two kitchenettes and a gas grill on board. It is possible to install a keg (there are pourers in every kitchen). You can go crazy here!
So that you can fully focus on enjoying the views in the morning, we have prepared an offer of breakfasts for you. They can be delivered between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. from a verified location close to us. There are 4 breakfast options to choose from, you have to make your decision the day before. It's delicious and made from local products (their cost is PLN 25 per person).
Even though we are about 500 meters from the historic market square in Puck, there is peace and quiet on the deck of our cutter. The ship moors a little out of the way, and only the owners of the units located next to it have access to the pier. Sunrises and sunsets will be only for you, and the proximity of the town center will give you access to all (and quite numerous in the season) cultural and sports events. In the morning you can meet fishermen on the pier, whose smoked fish can later be bought on the waterfront.
We have created two relaxation zones for you - the one on board with:
– soothing view of the bay, surfers, sunrises and sunsets,
– 6-person jacuzzi (one person can lie down comfortably in it),
– a corner for lazing around, a swing and a gas grill,
– a ladder leading from the deck of the ship straight into the sea (the cutter is located in the Fisherman's Port, on its outer side, so you can swim in the bay right next to it),
– terrace on the top deck with hammocks and yoga cushions overlooking the sea on three sides and the Fisherman's Harbor on one side,
– the possibility of greeting and saying goodbye to the day with the sun at any time of the year (the terrace is heated in the cold months).
And the one below deck with:
– a huge, comfortable sofa-bed, floor cushions and sacks,
– board games and a set of books (if you want, you can exchange your books here - leave yours and take ours),
– a projector that turns the living room into a cinema room.
At your request, we can provide you with a massager, massage bed, oils and a tutorial.
We also recommend Puck itself - a surprising, charming and interesting city.
At your fingertips you will have:
– beaches,
– Puck brewery and Strand tavern,
– the best waffles from Margaretka,
– promenade and historic market square,
– surfing school and SUP board rental,
– fish fry at Budzisz,
– bicycle snowball,
– cruises with Star One.
The view of the sun setting against the background of wind turbines, surfers and the Bay of Puck will stay with you for a long time.
What’s there for employees?
Working from the deck of a cutter? Of course! The Internet is booming, and you can hold meetings and write e-mails from anywhere. You can on the deck, at the table below the deck, from a swing, a sack or a deckchair. You choose where to do it if the work came with you.
