Less than an hour from Warsaw, in a vineyard on the Sona River, there is a brick house for two. Its decor takes you back to the distant past, and the stone fireplace remembers the times of kings. Inside, on two sides, there are two mezzanines - on one there is a bedroom with a double bed, on the other - a reading corner and a bookcase with a large selection of books (in Polish and English). Both are accessed by a brass ladder. On the ground floor, in one open space, there is a kitchenette, a shower, a tub with cold water and a stone fireplace. There are a sauna and a toilet in separate rooms. Outside, on a large wooden terrace, there is a jacuzzi, loungers and a barbecue. The surroundings provide a break from everyday life. The 49-meter-long cottage is located by a pond, surrounded by greenery and close to a vineyard. 1.5 hectares of our land with an orchard and a vegetable garden are located on a hill - from here there is a view of the Sony River reservoir, meadows and forests. The vineyard has its own shoreline on the reservoir. Due to the animals living here - a horse (which sometimes peeks through the fence), cats and a dog - I invite you without pets.

Although the kitchen is definitely not typical and has a mini size, you will be able to cook freely in the house. I invite you to feast outside - hidden among the trees is a table with benches and a small table with chairs, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee. On site, you will also be able to use a fireplace with a grate.

You will enjoy your stay alone or as a couple in a house located in a vineyard. It is idyllic, relaxing and original here. The interior is not typical - the house has a lot of stone, accessories and details that take you back to the past and places to relax. You can here: – read books from a large collection – in a comfortable armchair on the mezzanine, – immerse yourself in a tub of hot water and then cool down in the cold one inside, – go to a sauna session, – sit at a table in the garden, – light a fire and eat at a table among the trees, – warm up by the stone fireplace, – swim or kayak around the pond, – take a walk among the vines, – go mushroom picking in autumn, – go skiing in winter. Kayaks and bicycles are waiting for you on site, which will allow you to explore the area from different perspectives. And it is worth exploring its nooks and crannies. Near the vineyard there is the Sona Reservoir, where you can also kayak. On our side (in the hamlet of Nowe Miasto called Folwarek) the shore of the reservoir is rather wild, and its surroundings are very quiet - you can swim or fish. By bike, you can reach: the iron bridge on the Sona River, the dam and beach in Nowe Miasto, and the railway bridge on the Wkra River. An organized place to relax by the reservoir can be found on the New Town side, where there is a guarded beach, a pier and a wake park with the possibility of renting kayaks and pedal boats, as well as practicing water sports. The reservoir is located in a silence zone. In Joniec (about 5 minutes by car from Nowe Miasto) kayaking trips on the Wkra (of which the Sona is a tributary) are organized. The start is possible in Sochocin, the finish in Joniec. You can also start from Joniec and sail towards Pomiechówek. I recommend the Lidkowo Guesthouse to horse lovers.
