On your way to the Croatian seaside, it's worth stopping in the picturesque village of Hosszúhetény in southern Hungary. It can be found just south of the Mecsek Mountains and is only a few kilometres away from the town of Pecs. Why to stop there? Let us give you some nice reasons. :) This village is famous for its 16 grain mills built in the 19th century. And believe it or not, in one of these restored mills and agricultural buildings is located our Almalomb.

This reconstructed 200-year-old mill has been in my family for seven generations, and after all the renovations, we've turned it into a dream-gathering place. The one that will attract people with its hospitality. We've created 6 spacious suites for 16 guests in Almalomb and we had been rewarded with an UN award for the renovation of the old buildings. Our boutique-style hotel is part of the Almalomb Culinary Retreat & Meeting Place complex of listed buildings. We can accommodate 16 guests in 6 boutique style rooms. We work in the spirit of sustainability and we kindly ask you to do the same.
We do not have a permanent front desk. Your room keys and Shed26 keys will be stored in our key safe in the car park next to the rooms. You will receive a text message prior to arrival with a personalised code to access the key safe. Please lock the door and return the keys to the key safe upon departure.

This is our wedding suite. It shares a kitchenette with apartment A2 - with a small fridge, bar table for 3 people, sink, coffee and tea making facilities and induction cooker.

A2
Double room with 2 twin beds. The windows open onto our garden and can be closed from the inside with wooden shutters. It has a small kitchenette neighbouring apartment A1.

A3
Our coziest room for 1 or 2 guests, with the main focus on the time spent in bed. From this room you have access to the garden through a glass door, which can be blacked out from the inside with a roller blind. We also welcome pets in this room (one; extra charge).

A4
Quadruple room with a bed on the ground floor and a mattress in the gallery, which is accessible by a steep wooden staircase (for sleeping only). This room also welcomes four-legged guests (single; extra charge).

A5
Room with gallery, furnished with a double bed downstairs with a kilt on the wall above the bed and a mattress upstairs in the gallery (the gallery is for sleeping only).

A6
Double room converted into a studio ideal for 1 or 2 guests. The room has a gallery designed for sleeping with mattress. Pets are welcome in this room (one; extra charge).

SHED 26 - breakfast and creative event place
Our accommodation is located in the garden shared with Shed26 (our breakfast and community center). The rooms are just steps away from our guest car park, where we offer electric car charging stations.
Our Shed26 located next to the rooms is available to our accommodation guests throughout their stay, where we offer complimentary Almalomb .

Come and enjoy our seasonal menu and the play of flavours that we create with love and passion. You can also taste our sourdough rye bread, flakes of smoked sea salt and smoked paprika or our homemade pasta. Maybe you'll get lucky and have a taste of our fermented carrots or Moroccan lemons. Simply open yourself up to new experiences - without expectation, in a spontaneous way.

During the whole stay we serve breakfast to our guests every day from 8:30 to 9:30 (in Shed26) - breakfast for an extra charge.

- Szekszárd wine region - get to know 1 of the 2 wine-growing areas where the Bull's Blood wine can be produced

Children of all ages are welcome at our establishment. Children between 0 and 2 years old are welcome free of charge and can use a cot and highchair upon request without extra charge. Cots are subject to availability, so please let us know at the time of your booking if you need one. The minimum age for check-in independently is 18. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate extra beds at our property.

Shed26 (capacity for 20 people) is a four-season creative event space located next to the rooms and equipped with the latest technology:
