In the Middle Ages, the famous Salt Road ran through here, along which salt was transported from Moravian mines to Krakow. The route led through the Biała Lądecka valley, meandering only a few hundred meters from here. Trzebieszowice, although inconspicuous, is one of the oldest villages in the Kłodzko region. They were written about as early as 1269! However, we want to take a fresh look at their area. We built a modern house on our family land, with history behind us, but with a terrace facing the forest hills. It smells of wood from which the furniture, stairs and doors were made by a local carpenter. And this is where we invite you today. To the tub with a view of the hills and to read a book by the fireplace. For a comfortable and uninterrupted sleep before hitting the slopes and the trail. We invite active people, lazy people and those in between. You can go for a walk to the neighboring Prosta Street or a slightly longer one - to the famous Radochowska Cave in Radochów. You can, but you don't have to. No compulsion is the first rule of celebrating Simple Joys.
We invite you to a fresh, comfortable house in the Kłodzko Valley. It is located on the edge of historic Trzebieszowice, through which the Biała Lądecka River flows. It stands about 100 m on our land, behind my parents' farm. It provides isolation, silence and blissful rest among nature.
Our house has:
on the ground floor:
– open kitchen with an island and dining room,
– living room with fireplace,
– bedroom with bunk beds,
– bathroom with shower;
– wooden terrace with armchairs and a hot tub,
on the floor:
– 2 bedrooms with a double bed each,
– 1 bedroom with 2 single beds,
– bathroom with shower.
Pets are welcome, but remember that the plot is not fenced.
We leave you with a well-equipped kitchen, and if you are planning a vacation from cooking, we recommend several restaurants in Kłodzko and Złoty Jar. We also feel that you may like the atmospheric Coffee Ride cafe in Lądek Zdrój, located in a historic railway station.
Maybe boredom is exactly what you need, and if so, here you can finally be bored properly. The number of stimuli around is minimal. There will be only you, a comfortable house and soothing views around. At location:
– you have unlimited access to the hot tub (you just have to heat it yourself, the prepared wood will be waiting),
– you can do morning yoga on the terrace,
– we have a designated place for a bonfire,
– in summer it's best to read a book on a deckchair,
– and in winter he warms himself on the sofa by the fireplace and looks at the space outside the window.
Our house is also an ideal base for exploring the Kłodzko Valley.
In the immediate vicinity, we recommend a trip to Cierniak. The historic 19th century chapel in Cierniak is only 4.5 km away, a 1-hour walk.
Only 2 km from here is the palace in Trzebieszowice, also known as the Castle on the Rock. It is a 16th-century palace located on a rocky bend of the Biała Lądecka River. Today there is a hotel in the palace, but it is also open to visitors.
Nearby there is the Radochowska Cave. You can visit it from April 15 to September 30 - prior appointment is recommended. Out of season, visiting the cave is also possible, but also after prior arrangement. The guided tour lasts approximately 40 minutes. The cave inside the Bzowiec Mountain has been known since the mid-19th century. 18th century and you can learn its secrets with a guide.
Another unique cave worth visiting is the Bear Cave in Kletno. Due to the very picturesque dripstones there, it is said to be the most beautiful cave in Poland. It is open from spring to the end of October and also requires prior reservation. During a trip to the cave, we recommend eating fresh trout at Nad Stawami in Kletno :)
We also recommend a trip to Złoty Stok. The black tourist trail runs along the route: Bystrzyca Kłodzka - Stary Waliszów - Romanowo - Ołdrzychowice Kłodzkie - Rogówek - Droszków - Przełęcz Leszczynowa - Chwalisław - Złoty Stok.
Be sure to stop at Hałda Storczykowa. This is an ecological site created on the waste dumps of the former "Reicher Trost" mine. In addition to interesting geological finds, you will be able to admire the male orchid, but also other unique protected plants. Once you reach Złoty Stok, eat in one of the most magical guesthouses in Poland, in Złoty Jar. And then it's time for Złoty Stok attractions:
– The old gold mine "Złoty Stok" and the Ochrowa Adit, which you simply must visit (with a guide). There's a lot going on here. Underground waterfalls and boat trips along flooded walkways - a combination of education and entertainment. Even at night!
– The Medieval Mining Village, the Labyrinth of Fear and the Executioner's Cottage are waiting for those who want to see how it was done in the dark ages.
– On site, you can also cast your own gold bar, mint a gold coin, look for diamonds or have fun panning for gold.
When the waters of Biała Lądecka disappear under snow and ice, it's a sign that it's time to take out your skis. The nearest ski station is in Lądek-Zdrój (7 km), a little further (19 km) there is the more famous and crowded, but popular Czarna Góra resort. We recommend a wild trip to Śnieżnik for ski tourers, and for runners to Bielice, where they will find a total of 85 km of routes on both the Polish and Czech sides.
We also recommend many other attractions for discoverers of local attractions:
– charming Kłodzko, with its historic architecture and picturesque location,
– Srebrna Góra with an 18th-century mountain fortress,
– the palace in Sarny from 1661 – although in ruins (or maybe because of it) – is impressive,
– baroque-classicist palace in Bożków,
– the quiet Polanica Zdrój with its historic spa house and Chess Park,
– Sky Walk with our Czech neighbors.
And if you like concerts, flea markets and other neighborhood events, check out the Lądek-Zdrój calendar (https://ckirladek.pl/layout-b/). There's a lot going on here even in the off-season, since the pandemic spread remote work and former city residents, eager for a dose of local culture, moved to this area.
What’s there for children?
We have space and nature around for children, and you can organize other attractions yourself. Fortunately, there is plenty to do in the Kłodzko Valley! You can go on a trip to the mountains, to the Gold Mine in Złoty Stok, to the Indian village in Stare Waliszów or see the fortifications of the Kłodzko Fortress.
What’s there for employees?
We don't have Wi-Fi yet, but if you would like to share a hotspot from your phone, the network works very well. Several people can work at the table on the ground floor, and there is a small desk in one of the bedrooms. We will soon connect the Internet from the router.
