Komárno is in Slovakia, Komárom in Hungary, and we have our Komarno. Ours, although once German. The existence of the village of Kemreswalde was first recorded in 1305! It was here that there was a cottage weaving center, a windmill and water mills. A palace and later an evangelical church were built here in the 17th century. And due to the picturesque location - we are located at the foot of the highest peak of the Kaczawskie Mountains, Skopiec - tourism flourished in Komarno even before World War II. Later things were different. When I found the settlement from 1930 at 46, it was in a moribund state. And today? Its first owners would be proud. In the house and barn, I tried to save what I could: wooden stairs, ceiling beams, brick walls. If you like the marriage of old and new, and at the same time care about comfort, you will be satisfied. From the terrace you can admire the well-kept garden and through the fence you can look at the panorama of the Karkonosze Mountains. Go on a trip full of history on electric bikes, leave the house straight to the trail in comfortable shoes, and take a city bus to Jelenia Góra. There is always something to do in Lower Silesia.

Komarno is a picturesque village in the Kaczawskie Mountains, 12 km from Jelenia Góra. Due to our location in the high season, people who like activity and climbing willingly come to us, but in fact we are an excellent base for everyone who wants to visit Lower Silesia.

The habitat includes the House and the House under the Świerkami. We have 2 apartments in the House (ground floor or first floor), and you can rent the entire House.

The ground floor apartment has:
– open kitchen connected to the dining room and living room,
– 2 bedrooms (one with a double bed, the other with a double + single bed),
– bathroom,
– terrace overlooking the garden.

The apartment on the first floor has:
– open kitchen connected to the dining room and living room,
– 2 bedrooms (double bed downstairs, double bed and extra bed on the mezzanine),
– bathroom with shower.

And the house has:
– open kitchen connected to the dining room and living room,
– 2 bedrooms (double bed + single bed downstairs, double bed upstairs),
– bathroom with shower,
- bathroom on the first floor next to the bedroom (without shower)
– terrace overlooking the garden.
The corner sofa on the ground floor of the house is very comfortable and although the limit of people in it is 5, we can also arrange a visit for 6 people. Ask about this possibility when sending a reservation inquiry.

In the carefully landscaped area you will find spaces prepared for relaxation: a restored barn with a common room, a cozy gazebo and a place for a bonfire. The area is large enough that even if there are other guests in neighboring apartments, everyone will find privacy.

Each of our apartments has a well-equipped kitchen where you can prepare your favorite dishes. And if you prefer to eat out - nothing could be easier. The area will not disappoint you.

On site, you can enjoy the well-kept surroundings around the houses, which offer many pleasures. There are hammocks among the trees, deckchairs and an atmospheric lighted shelter where you can have a barbecue.

When the weather is not favorable, we invite you to the recreation room in the old barn. There you will find table football, darts, darts and a TV if you want to watch a match.

Soon you will also have the opportunity to use the sauna, which we are waiting for - it will be available from December. It is a sauna with 3 functions: dry, wet and infrared - for people with heart problems.

The local bicycle routes are a treat for lovers of two wheels. It's mainly gravel, with some sections resembling single tracks. If you prefer to overcome them with support, we have 4 electric bikes for rent for PLN 120/day.

Straight from Komarno you will go to Mount Skopiec, one of the three highest peaks of the Kaczawskie Mountains, belonging to the Crown of Polish Mountains. You can also conquer the neighboring, slightly higher peaks, Baraniec and Folwarczna.

We are located in close proximity to Rudawy Janowickie. Visit the colorful lakes that were created in the former German pyrite mines, for beautiful views from the top go to Krzyżna Góra, Husyckie Skały and Sokolik (there is an observation deck with a panorama of the Karkonosze Mountains) and visit the ruins of the Bolczów castle captured by the Swedes during the Deluge .

Interestingly, Justus Decjusz, the former owner of the Bolczów castle, also owned the mining town of Miedzianka. Anyone who has read Filip Springer's reportage about the disappearing town is well aware of the story of Miedzianka. We encourage everyone else to read, and in the meantime, visit the Miedzianka Brewery, where you can drink local beer and eat a tasty dinner on the terrace with a view.
Valley of Palaces and Gardens of the Jelenia Góra Valley - on almost 100 km² there are approximately 30 castles, Renaissance manors, Baroque palaces and residential towers. Some of them are just ruins, others are restored and ready to be visited. This is our Polish Loire Valley.

For kids, we have a great playground with a climbing wall and a house with a mini-kitchen. The clever trick is that we placed it right next to the fireplace (or even two!), so you can exchange words with adults during an afternoon together, and at the same time keep an eye on the kids. For rainy days in the house, where there are 2 apartments, there are books and games in the library in the corridor.
