When we discovered Perníkovka, it housed a cafe and a pastry shop. And also a children's puppet theater. The part where tastes had room was downstairs (mainly for parents) and the part where unlimited children's imagination had room was upstairs.
We are not very cafe- or puppet-based, so we decided to return the cottage to its former beauty and transform it back into accommodation. Of course, it took several years and everything had to go down to the bone. The wooden one. And even though all visitors are welcome in Štramberk, we had to evict the worms. We didn't want them nibbling on your ears at night and stuffing their bellies with our cottage, even if it's called Gingerbread House. Thanks to our skill and the skill of all our miraculous helpers, the beautiful cottage finally woke up from the spell.
We invite you here, you can come even at eight - you can fit in with us. You will see for yourself why Štramberk is the most photogenic town in Northern Moravia and Silesia, you will discover the secrets of its beautiful streets and corners and you will find yourself in a fairy tale at least for a while. And maybe you can sweeten your life in our sweet gingerbread house.

A UNIQUE LOG HOUSE IN THE HEART OF ŠTRAMBERK

In the cottage you will find:
- on the ground floor, common room with kitchen, dining area, fireplace and wine cellar
- upstairs 3 bedrooms for 8 people
- 2 bathrooms: one on the ground floor with a bathtub, the other upstairs with a shower
- we also have Wi-Fi, TV with lots of channels and Netflix
- floor heating. In Perníkovka, however, you can also warm up in a stone fireplace, which beautifully complements the atmosphere of the place.

Outside, a garden with a barbecue awaits you.

In addition to the fully equipped kitchen, you can use the outdoor grill and the garden to enjoy sitting and grilling with family or friends. And to make these meetings even more pleasant, we equipped the kitchen with a wine selection.

Warmth from the fireplace, a bottle of good wine, a cup of hot tea. Even so, a day at Perníkovka can look like. And it doesn't have to be just autumn and winter. You will have a very pleasant rest by the roaring fire and crackling wood, and you can have endless conversations here.
That a glass of wine can't be done without a book? No problem, in addition to the wine, we have also left a supply of books for you, and feel free to relax in the hot tub. But before that...

Let yourself be drawn into the ancient history, admire the Štramber castle (which, by the way, is older than the entire city) with the Gothic Trumpet tower, historic houses hidden in the protected core of the city.
Add to that museums, a city park with a sculpture gallery, a limestone quarry with a natural botanical garden and a stone labyrinth or the Šipka cave.
We definitely don't want to list everything, we just want to tell you that there are really a lot of monuments and cultural beauties here and you have a lot to look forward to.
