Josef combined his laudable hobby and life's passion into one. He is even so good at it that he can please you too when you visit him in Brno. In a separate part of the family house, in complete privacy, his love for things from the past took on a new dimension, namely two spacious apartments. Their common denominator is design and a unique sense of detail.
Here you will discover old renovated gems: a table from 1979 that was once a carpenter's desk, chairs from the 70s, a retro chest of drawers, an original military bed with a metal frame, a wall covered with newspapers from 1980-1993 or a convertible wall in the hall. And do you know what a bomb is? In suite N°2 you will find a piece of glass floor with a thickness of 33 cm above a fully functional well. The one from which you will drink clean and refreshing water. You can see up to a depth of 8 meters and experience what it's like to "levitate" in the air.
Here you can not only relax, get to know Brno and its surroundings, but also please your eyes, sense of aesthetics and experience original Czech design.
In a separate part of the private house, Josef has hidden three design pearls. Choose as you please.
APARTMENT N°1 - ideal for a couple
Josef has connected the living area with a smaller kitchenette. You will also find his work here - the aforementioned dining table made from an old joiner's bench. In the bedroom, a spacious bed (180 x 200 cm) awaits you, and the bedside tables have an integrated wireless charger. In addition, there is a work area with a desk and even a chest of drawers with a turntable and a wide selection of LP records. A "living" library awaits you - you can borrow any book if you add a book from your own collection in exchange for it.
APARTMENT N°2 - for three - the one with the well ;)
It is more spacious and it is here that the tempting element of the glass floor above the fully functional well appears. The well space from 1961 is illuminated and you can see up to a depth of 8 m. The glass above the well is 33 mm and you can walk on it with the cool calm of an Englishman. Want to know more? There is also an adjustable glass wall, Josef's first renovation: a military metal bed, a wall with adjustable shelves, a wine holder, small items and of course - a turntable with LP records.
If you are a fan of art and aesthetics, you will appreciate the smart TV with The Frame function. Thanks to it, you will have unlimited access to drawings, paintings and photographs of world artists. The TV will also serve as a picture that you can adjust yourself according to your mood.
APARTMENT N°3 - for six - the latest addition :)
This is not only the newest of all, but also the largest. It can accommodate up to 6 people. We will only add that it is a spacious duplex with 5 beds. It has an open airy space and its own outdoor terrace (11 m2) on the second floor. It consists of: a hallway with storage space and access to the terrace, a living area with a wood-burning fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen with a dining table, air conditioning. It has 2 bedrooms: 1 is a bedroom with a study and another mezzanine for sleeping, the other bedroom is next to the living room. 2 x TV, 1 x screen + projector. Bathroom, relaxation area on the "network" with a projection screen.
Here you will find standard kitchen equipment: spices, seasonings, coffee and tea.
