The rhythm of the days in our house is determined by the movement of the sun. In the morning rays, we drink coffee on the terrace overlooking Lake Rożnowskie, and as the hours pass, we move to other sunny places. We change terraces with the movement of the sun. We finish by looking at our ecological vegetable garden, growing as lushly as in the countries of the South. For some reasons, it is warmer on the hill in Znamirowice than in other regions of Poland. Are you wondering why? First of all, there is nothing blocking the sun here. Secondly, the west wind, the one that blows most often in our country, has no access here because the house is surrounded by a forest. And if that's not a good enough reason to pack up and head south, let's add a sauna and a hot tub from which you can watch the sun wander over the waters of the lake. We would like to inform cat lovers - in our garden, 5 self-maintaining cats live in known hiding places: Mietek, Żmija, Lunka, Szaruś and Miśka. They will be happy if you give them milk once a day during your visits.
We invite you to a comfortable house with a spectacular view of Lake Rożnowskie. It is located in a hamlet where we have only 1 permanent neighbor. The rest are summer houses, where people rarely visit.
The house has:
on the ground floor:
- living room with fireplace and view of the lake,
- open kitchen with dining room,
- bathroom with bathtub,
on the first floor:
- 3 bedrooms
· with a double bed 180 x 200 cm
· with a double bed 160 x 200 cm
· children's with 2 mattresses 90 x 200 cm.
In our garden there live 3 cats (for this reason we invite you without pets). The cats are maintenance-free: they have their own feeder, from which food is enough for them for 2 weeks, and in addition our neighbor regularly drops by to give them water and milk. The default settings are such that it can also come during your visit, but if you value privacy more, we kindly ask you to take care of the cat's watering hole (milk only once a day, no more!).
We have a special microclimate here - it is very warm. The house is sheltered by the forest, there is almost never any wind, and a lot of sun falls on the terraces and through the large windows.
In our kitchen you will find everything you may need. This is our house, where we once lived every day, so it is solidly equipped. We have a mixer, a pizza oven and even a Lidlomix that will make it easier for you to prepare meals.
During the season, feel free to use our ecological vegetable garden. We fertilize it completely without the use of chemicals, and thanks to the specific warm microclimate on our hill, it is exceptionally lush and vegetates for a long time. You will find greens, herbs, carrots, parsley, beets and Brussels sprouts. We also have fruit: raspberries and blueberries. The forest surrounding us is very rich in mushrooms, so get ready for mushroom picking in the fall!
Our house has its own secret: it is very difficult to leave it. Our friends who visit us regularly declare that the next time they come, they will definitely go on a trip in the area, and this has never happened before.
So it would probably be best if you accept that this is a place where you come to cut yourself off from the world and chill in comfortable conditions. The most pleasant thing here is to sit on the couch or on one of the terraces and look at the lake. Throughout the house and garden, we have many corners where you can hide away and relax - on the swing, by the fireplace, on a deckchair on one of the 3 terraces.
A sauna awaits you in the garden. 1 sauna session is included in the price of your stay. There are forests around us, where you can go mushroom picking or walk. The path next to the house leads to the lake, where in the summer you can use the beach or just watch.
The Aqua AWF Centre is nearby, where you can rent a boat, kayak or water bike. In the summer, SUP is great here, so if you have the opportunity, take it with you.
We have installed an outdoor gym under the shelter on one of the terraces.
In the winter, the ski slopes are close to us:
- Jaworzyna Krynicka approx. 1 h 20 min.,
- Laskowa approx. 35 min.,
- Cieniawa approx. 40 min.
What’s there for children?
There are plenty of toys, games and books in the children's room that will surely make your children's time more enjoyable. There is no bed with a frame - but there are two mattresses on top of each other that can be unfolded so that two children can sleep on them.
We built a treehouse in the garden, there is a swing and a sandbox. There is no shortage of places to have fun! We also have table football and a gym under a shelter.
What’s there for employees?
You can work remotely with us, in one of the rooms there is a desk and an additional monitor for work. The Internet is not the fastest, but you can easily make calls.
