Willa tuŻur

I invite you to relax in a house surrounded by greenery in a quiet corner of the Tucholskie Forest. Willa tuŻur is located outside the compact development of the village of Żur. The area has an area of 1.34 ha, and on the plot, in addition to the house, there are 2 small guest houses, located at the back, by the stream. There is a 3-person room or a 5-person apartment at your disposal. In addition to a bedroom (or two) and a bathroom, each of them also consists of a small living room. In the house, I also encourage you to use the coffee lounge, dining room with fireplace and green terrace. Your rooms are located on the first floor of the villa, and I live on the ground floor. My 4 cats live in the garden, and there is also a dog at home. I invite you to the villa without pets. If you want to visit me with your pets, I encourage you to rent houses by the stream in TuŻur. On the plot you will find many recreational points: a beach with deckchairs, hammocks, a barbecue, garden sheds, and a bonfire place.

I serve breakfast to all guests of the villa in the price of accommodation. On the table you will find products that I buy regionally, from friendly hosts. There are home-made eggs and butter, you can find cottage cheese, farm cheese, and cold meats from small, local butchers. If you are a vegetarian, no problem, I will offer you a meal tailored to your preferences. If you want, you can buy the half-board option. I follow this rule - before you arrive, I will ask you about what you like and what you cannot eat. However, what I will serve you will be a surprise. My guests really like this solution. On the plot there is my ecological vegetable garden, from which I will provide you with vegetables and herbs in season. I also invite you to harvest it yourself and add it to your dishes if you cook on your own. I can serve the purchased meals to you in the dining room, on the ground floor of the villa. TuŻur cottages by the stream also have simple kitchenettes (they have a hob with 2 burners and a microwave) where you can prepare your own meals. If you would like to buy local delicacies, I will be happy to provide you with contact details of friendly producers and hosts.

tuŻur is a place where you can get bored with complete impunity (although you don't have to). It is located in the Tucholskie Forests, in the natural and landscape complex of the Sobińska Struga Valley (a tributary of the Wda), belonging to the Wdecki Landscape Park. It is also located in a Natura 2000 area and a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Those seeking contact with nature will find here fresh air, still wild forests and meadows, crystal-clear rivers and lakes. The silence is broken only by birds chirping and the sounds of the rutting scene. What you can do on site and in the vicinity: – enjoy the charms of the habitat: hammocks and deckchairs in green corners, garden sheds, barbecue, fireplace, volleyball and badminton courts, – reading and films: I love cinema and literature, so on site you will find a large library and a CD collection with several hundred titles from various genres; I provide DVD players for rooms and cottages along with selected films, – during the season, once a week I organize a cinema under the stars, – getting to know the region before you set off: you will have tourist guides and maps, studies on the region, its history, culture, cuisine and language, as well as atlases of mushrooms and birds, – bathing: each house has its own entrance to the stream that flows below, and the nearest wild swimming area with a gentle descent to the water is located 1,500 m from TuŻur; there are more clean, pleasant swimming areas in the area - I will be happy to give you tips, – kayaking: Wda and Zalew Żurski are great places to try kayaking for the first time, and even more advanced paddlers will enjoy kayaking along their wild, sometimes empty trails even in the season, In winter, I will be happy to organize a sleigh ride for you with the help of a friendly stud farm from nearby Gródek, – hiking and cycling trips, – fishing, - winter swimming, – minor garden work: if you want, you can try your hand at being a gardener in tuŻur – I know that not everyone had such an opportunity, and garden work can be very relaxing; I will be happy to tell you my secrets about growing tasty vegetables and herbs. I also invite you to use the SPA located among greenery, with a sauna and a hot tub. During the season, hedonistic pleasures are included in the price of the stay, and outside the season they are charged additionally from Monday to Friday. The cost is PLN 100 for the first heating of the sauna and hot tub and PLN 50 for each subsequent hour.
