Sometimes we are visited by people who spent their holidays here as children. They send photos and tell stories. They say: "it's good that someone breathed life into this place." When we walked into the former Ponderosa Bed and Breakfast a few years ago, the beds were made as if waiting to welcome guests, even though the house had been empty for almost nine years. Sounds spooky? Not for us - we thought that the spirit of hospitality that hovers over this place is a good omen. The hotel between the forests, in a secluded part of Szklarska Poręba, experienced its heyday in the 1980s and 1990s. And the Sudeten house in which it was located and whose new chapter we are writing today was built in the mid-19th century. Inconspicuous from the outside, it contains as much as 450 m², which is a home for our family and a refuge where yours can also come. On a huge area bordering the forest, you can go sledding in the winter and play football in the summer. You will be satisfied with the view of meadows and forests observed from the hot tub and sauna. Use it as much as you want, because both are included in the price of your stay. If you feel like having an adrenaline rush, we will send you on a night trip with lanterns with a friendly Sudetes guide. And if what you dream about most is family time at home, where there is room for even the most distant aunt, do not hesitate and come with a whole group to Zielone Jelenia.

If you were looking for a house for rent where you can bring a really large family or group of friends, you have just found it. In Zielony Jeleń we can host you for up to 23 people! Come to us in winter for skiing, in summer for mountain trails, and at any time of the year to organize a reunion with relatives and friends you haven't seen for a long time.

Ground floor:
– common room with tables for 25 people, fireplace, TV with Netflix, corner with board games and books, ping-pong table,
– kitchen with oven, dishwasher, tableware for 25 people,
– room no. 1: 2-person, beds together or separately,
– room no. 2: 2-person, beds together or separately,
– room no. 3: 3-person, 3 single beds or 2 beds together and one single bed,
1st floor:
– room no. 6 for 6 people (bedroom with a double bed, mezzanine with 4 single beds, living room with a large table),
– room no. 7 for 4 people (fold-out corner sofa for 2 people, 2 single beds on the mezzanine),
– equipped kitchenette with an induction hob,
– second entrance,
– ski rack,
2 floor:
– room no. 8 for max. 4 people (2 single beds, double bed + possibility of folding out the sofa).

Zielony Jeleń is also our house and our apartment is located in its wooden part. It may happen that we will be there, but most often when guests come to us, we disappear for the whole day or go away for the weekend. Either way, the house is huge, just like the area around the house - we certainly won't get in each other's way.

There will be a kitchen and dining room at your disposal, and there is a barbecue outside for summer days.
If you want, we will give you contact details of a catering company that prepares tasty home-made breakfasts that our guests have always been satisfied with. You can also order dinner from them, but few people decide to do so - Szklarska is full of restaurants.

Before you set off on the trails and explore the surrounding area, relax in our garden. We have as much as 2 hectares of land where every member of a large group will find a place for themselves. There are deckchairs, a large terrace, a barbecue area and a football pitch. There is also a sauna and a hot tub with a view, at your disposal, included in the price of your stay. We even have our own piece of forest.

We can help you organize a nice family attraction: a walk with Mr. Gracjan, a friendly Sudetes guide. Maybe you'll even feel like taking a night walk with lanterns? Its route runs right next to our house, so you can go straight to the trail.

The Karkonosze Mountains are called the Polish Alps. They are famous for hurricane winds and frequent weather changes, but also for 150 amazing rock formations, mountain lakes and glacial cirques. The Chronicles of Narnia were filmed here, the peaks are looked after by Liczyrzepa, and in the shelters you can drink delicious hot chocolate and eat pancakes with blueberries.

The unique tourist attractions in our area include:
– Śnieżne Kotły, i.e. glacial cirques and a great viewpoint,
– Wielki Szyszak, the second peak of the Karkonosze Mountains,
– Polana Jakuszycka, which is a paradise for cross-country fans, and during the run you can even meet Justyna Kowalczyk,
– Jakuszyce Glassworks, a great attraction for both children and adults.
– Szklarka Waterfall, probably the most photographed place in Szklarska Poręba and perfectly prepared for tourists' visits,
– Crocus Reserve in Górzyniec, best to visit in early spring.
– Bobrowe Skały, attractive especially for climbing enthusiasts.
– Wang Temple.
– Ski slopes in the border town of Harrachov.
– The Palace in Staniszów and the captivating Pakoszów Palace, which you must see.

A well-developed network of tourist trails in the city and the surrounding area (almost 100 km of marked tourist trails) and the proximity to chairlifts and drag lifts located in the mountains create very good conditions for practicing a variety of tourism all year round.

You can also have fun cycling. You can choose the route depending on your fitness, willingness and skills, e.g. the 9-kilometer Three District Connector or the difficult 50-kilometer Cogeneration Route, which leads through the Karkonosze and Jizera Mountains. You can also hit the middle and go 20 kilometers on the Large Szklarska Pętla.

Jakuszyce needs no introduction to cross-country skiers. Those who have already mastered the technique can try their hand at the Piast Run, and beginners can start learning with an instructor and, after an hour of training, take the route to the beautiful Orle shelter. The effort and failures (the beginnings are sometimes difficult) will be rewarded with pancakes with chocolate.

One of the inconspicuous but very popular attractions is the JUNA Earth Museum, which is worth visiting, for example when the weather is not good. Although guests don't always go there excited, they usually come back delighted because the collections are so beautiful and diverse.

We also recommend the Student Song Festival, a colorful and interesting event that always puts you in a good mood.

Feel free to come to us with your children! Preferably several, so that they can hide in the attic bedroom and have night fun there. Our area is so large (but safe and fenced) that it is impossible to get bored. Especially in winter, when you can go sledding here. We managed to level part of the area and set up a football pitch there.

We have fast internet, and the house is so large that you can easily find a corner where you can hide and work.
