You just need to know the Legend of the Forest. This is a story about a house in the Tatra Mountains, 5 minutes from the ski station. So put your gear on your shoulder and hit the slopes. Then a decent dinner with double the amount of butter and cabbage, followed by thermal baths and an evening bonfire in the garden. In winter, the snow often reaches above the knees and you can test all kinds of frosty sports, in summer sheep dominate the pastures and oscypek cheese dominates the stomachs of tourists. We invite you to our series about life in the mountains. One with a happy ending, because you won't be the one clearing snow here.

Hello, Asia and Andrzej here - the souls of the "Legend of the Forest", enthusiasts of off road, camping and living in harmony with nature. Our love for outdoor adventures and quiet moments spent surrounded by forests and mountains resulted in the creation of this unique place. Wanting to share our passion, we created the "Legend of the Forest" - a refuge where everyone can experience the charm of a peaceful and comfortable life close to nature. We have always been connected with this region, highlander tradition and love for the mountains. On a daily basis, we run a car repair shop and raise our 13-year-old son, Maks. We try to make every day full of smiles, because we believe that a day without a smile is a day wasted. Thanks to the support of our entire beloved family, we were able to create the place we had always dreamed of. With our hospitality and openness, we will try to create an atmosphere in which every guest will feel at home. We invite you to our Legend of the Forest, where everyone who visits us will give us wings and motivation to continue working and improving this place.

  • We have been listed on Google Maps for several days, accessible via a gravel road, paved and cleared of snow. Google maps shows the last 200 m on foot, but don't worry, you'll get right to the house where there is a parking lot. The satellite map will show the exact route to the Legend of the Forest. Access is possible from Leśnica-Groń or Bukowina Tatrzańska.

Other rules

  • Regulations of the Forest Legend Cottage

    Before arriving, please read the regulations. ;-)

    1. Guests staying in the cottage are asked to follow the rules of safe and polite recreation.
    2. Registered persons are entitled to use the house. The house can accommodate a maximum of 6-8 people. The tenant may not transfer or make the house available to third parties.
    3. Failure of the Guest to arrive without prior information by 10:00 a.m. on the day following the scheduled arrival date means cancellation of the rental. The host can rent the house to another person.
    4. The condition for receiving an invoice for a taxpayer running a business is to provide the NIP number at the time of booking.
    5. Accommodation is provided on the basis of an ID document and signing a rental agreement.
    6. There is a deposit of PLN 700 for the cottage, which will be returned on the day of departure after checking the current condition of the cottage. If equipment, furnishings, property is damaged or the regulations are not observed during the stay, the amount due will be deducted from the deposit in proportion to the damage. If the value of the damage exceeds the value of the deposit paid, the tenant will be additionally obliged to cover this difference.
    7. In case of damage to the equipment/property of the house, please inform the owner immediately so that it can be repaired/replaced. Financial compensation for the above-mentioned repair/replacement will be calculated according to the service costs and must be paid no later than on the day of departure.
    8. Due to parents' responsibility for the safety and any consequences of their children's actions, we are asking for increased care for them.
    9. It is strictly forbidden to smoke cigarettes, including electric cigarettes, use other stimulants or leave open flames uncontrolled inside the house.
    10. The owner is not responsible for valuable property left in the house or its surroundings. Parking spaces are unguarded and the owner is not responsible for loss or damage to vehicles or property left there.
    11. Due to the wooden structure of the house, fire protection rules must be observed both inside and outside the house.
    12. We reserve the right to use available wood for a fireplace, outdoor fire or barbecue rationally and in accordance with the ethics of wise use.
    13. The house is equipped with a smart home function, so each time a window or door is left open in the autumn and winter period, the house's electric heating will be automatically turned off after 15 minutes.
    14. It is important that after each use of the external log, it is protected with a thermal cover. The owner may charge an additional fee for failure to comply with the rules for using the logs, also included in separate regulations available in the cottage, and for careless use of the logs.
    15. The owner reserves the right to demand that guests leave the premises of the Legenda Lasu cottage at any time if the Regulations are violated without refund of the deposit.
    16. Please return the rented house in a condition similar to the one in which you received it.
    17. It is prohibited to organize hen parties, bachelor parties, etc. in the cottage and its premises.
    18. In matters not regulated by these regulations, the provisions of the Civil Code shall apply.

Domek położony przy lesie, w miejscu z dala od ludzi. Teren zagospodarowany świetnie, a wyposażenie bardzo dobrze przemyślane - niczego nie brakowało. Jest niezwykle przytulnie i domowo. Z wielką przyjemnością wrócimy :)

Wspaniały, drewniany dom na wzniesieniu, z którego rozpościera się piękny widok na Tatry. Domek bardzo dobrze wyposażony, przed domem balia, wokół duży ogród i przygotowane miejsce na grilla i ognisko. Duży plus za możliwość przyjazdu z pieskami :) bardzo dobry kontakt z właścicielką. Polecam!

Legenda Lasu to idealna przestrzeń dla każdego kto chce odpocząć od zgiełku miasta. Cisza i spokój, tutaj nie doświadczysz hałasu głośnych sąsiadów za ogrodzeniem :) Sam domek przemyślany i widać, ze dopieszczony w każdym calu. Świetnie wyposażony. Fantastycznie! Z całego serca szczerze polecamy. Świetny kontakt z gospodarzami, przepiękne widoki z domku. Cisza, spokój, ale jednak największe wrazenie zrobilo na nas wyposazenie.
