And here, you can have high expectations for a mountain getaway. At an altitude of 839 meters above sea level, whimsy, pleasures, and peace, disturbed only by the bleating of sheep, reign supreme. Because we designed our cottages so you don't have to think about a thing. Proof? One guest told us before departure that he could practically have arrived without luggage. The Wygórone cottages are located in Brzegi, a small village in the Podhale region. The edges of our plot are marked by a birch grove, where you can hide in a hammock, and a country road, along which a farmer occasionally passes by to greet you.
We love Podhale, and it was here that we wanted to fulfill our dream of running a guesthouse – far from trampolines, quad bikes, and curly fries. The idea was to be able to hit the trails without jostling on the main promenades. We succeeded: we found a plot right above a pasture, where only peace and quiet is allowed. With a panoramic view of the surrounding hills and the Tatra Mountains above. When you arrive, we'll personally welcome you, and if you'd like, we'll provide you with a delicious breakfast every morning. We'll also recommend the best trails in our beloved Slovak Tatra Mountains.
We'll leave you with a warning, though: surprisingly often, our guests abandon their hiking plans and stay put...
