At a glance
Wood ash was once produced here. Legend has it that a certain ashkeeper had a daughter, Teresa, and a son, Tomasz. When Teresa married her friend Tomasz, the village was divided into Tomaszewo and Tereszewo. In Tereszewo, in a forest clearing, there are two wooden family houses, and on the plot next to it is the house where I live with my family. After years of looking for my place in the world, I returned to my hometown and found it here. In the Brodnica Lake District, at the gate of the Brodnica Landscape Park, on the backwaters that start right next to it and where you can walk for hours. From here you can go to Lake Partęczyny Wielkie, the largest of over a hundred lakes in the lake district, and to the Okonek nature reserve, to walk around the lake that gives it its name, and in winter, ski on the slopes of Kurzeja Góra. It is best to do all this with children, because our space is child-friendly and organized for children. In the summer we open a water amusement park and set up a swimming pool in the garden, in the winter we go sledding, in the spring we run through the meadows, admiring the heather, and in the fall we pick mushrooms together. Children have a million ideas per minute and have space to implement them, and adults enjoy warm coffee, a deckchair on the terrace and meals together in the gazebo. There is something to do or do nothing at any time of the year, come visit us!

Hello everyone, although we've wandered the labyrinths of big cities, we've always longed for something more authentic and natural. This is where the idea for Chata Leśna Polana (Less Glade Cottage) was born – created with the guiding principle "feel the peace and quiet close to nature." We chose the undiscovered Brodnica Lake District, a land of 100+ lakes, forests, and meadows. We're located at the foot of the Brodnica Landscape Park.
We've created an intimate space for families with children (we have five of them ourselves :)), where you can recharge your batteries on the terrace while enjoying the view of the natural forest. For the little ones, a true paradise awaits in the forest clearing, full of entertainment and unforgettable moments.
Our cozy cottages, Sarna and Jeleń, offer not only space but true comfort. Comfortable beds will make sleep a pleasure, and a picturesque forest landscape will unfold from the bedroom window. What more could you want? We cordially invite you to discover the charms of Chatka Leśna Polany - a place where comfort meets nature, and peace becomes an everyday reality.
