Have you heard of deserts? These are unique peat bog complexes in Europe, where very rare plant species live. They are characteristic of the Nowy Targ Valley, where I come from. About 200 people live in the tiny village of Długopole, where Przystanek Podhale is located. It was here that I built a house with my dad, which, as we found out, helps deepen our relationships: after all, to create something together, you need patience and attentiveness to the other person. We were inspired by Scandinavian construction - we knew that the shape would be simple and that a lot of light would have to come in through the window. And although we are not in Scandinavia, our project fits harmoniously into the landscape. We wanted the leitmotif of this place to be space: the one around and the one for ourselves. You won't find many distractions here - the simple interior design is well-thought-out, and the surrounding nature, visible from all the windows, plays the main role. In such circumstances, it is easier to get closeness and the long-awaited freedom from your mind.

Hi, my name is Tomek, I live with my family (2 + 3) in Krakow. I am a programmer by profession, but I have always been fascinated by various types of manual work. The result of these fascinations is a year-round house in Podhale, which I built together with my father. It was a great adventure, requiring many sacrifices, and the effect exceeded our expectations.
I hope that it will serve as an oasis of peace not only for us, but also for our guests.
Where will I sleep?
