At a glance
Our place is neither a modern barn nor does it fit into architectural trends. We created it from what was there, and there used to be a diner here called "Karp". Why Karp? Well, the fact that the Oleśnica State Fisheries Farm operated dynamically in the area. Its time had passed, and the buildings right next to the forest, bordering the 19th-century manor house, were waiting for their new life. And then, with an armful of treasures from flea markets, we entered. We have arranged guest rooms and a room here, perfect for workshops, because we are ceramicists and sculptors by profession. I designed each of the rooms myself and each has a unique, artistic atmosphere. If you think about it, individual design elements do not fit together, but in our interiors they create a coherent whole. And although the buildings in the area are not beautiful, this place has plenty of charm. We invite those seeking peace, quiet and nature for hiking and cycling trips in the local forests. Maybe you will climb Gontyniec, the highest peak of the Greater Poland Lake District? We invite mushroom pickers, because they may have never seen so many mushrooms as here. And for those who want new and creative experiences, we will organize ceramics workshops, tai-chi classes, a bonfire in an old paper mill and a walk in the forest. It will be interesting.

Sometimes we are on-site, sometimes we're not
My name is Jola, and my husband and I founded a place that has been created from the very beginning with extraordinary people in mind. Each of our rooms is different. I designed them myself, and each one has a unique atmosphere. Most of the interior furnishings and furniture in our facility come from local flea markets. We believe in giving second life to objects that were no longer wanted, which fits into our concept of sustainable tourism. We ourselves love to travel and seek out places that connect with local culture, history, and flavors. In addition to natural beauty, our place also offers other attractions. Due to our profession (I am a visual artist – a sculptor, my husband a ceramicist), we run ceramic workshops. My studio is located in Uroczysko, where I love to spend time creating new sculptures. I am also active in the local community as a Tai Chi instructor.
