We have everything you could want from a trip to the Bieszczady Mountains, and this is not even it yet. Have you heard about the Sanocko-Turczańskie Mountains? If not, the simplest explanation of where they are located is "over there in the Bieszczady Mountains". Do you remember where Lake Solina is? That's even above him. The surrounding lands are covered with Carpathian forests full of nature reserves, and the Turnicki National Park is to be established there in the future. The one who would protect the remains of the Carpathian Forest. There are untrodden mountain trails nearby, perfect for families and those who like to walk but not get tired. This is where the famous serpentines in the Słonne Mountains wind. This is a land for those who dream of staying in the wild, enjoying vast panoramas full of hills, going on a trail and not meeting anyone. It was here, in a forest ravine above the Tyrawka River, that my settlement was founded. It will appeal to people who seek silence, want to be close to nature and like simple pleasures.

Sroczy Jar is a picturesque spot in the village of Rozpucie in the Przemyskie Foothills. The beauty of the landscape, interesting terrain, proximity to forests, meadows and clean air - these are the reasons why our guests like to come back to us. The area of the settlement is rich in diverse Carpathian flora and fauna. Squirrels, 20-centimetre dragonflies, numerous species of birds live here, and mushrooms grow right on the doorstep. In autumn, the rut can be observed from the balcony. Fishing enthusiasts have access to 2 ponds for fishing.

The cottages are scattered throughout the entire area of the private forest interspersed with fish ponds. Some of them give a real sense of living in the treetops.

At your disposal will be a tub and sauna in the common relaxation area. Cottages no. 5 and 6 have their own tub on the terrace (fee for use: PLN 300 / day).

There is also a large common shelter for feasting, under which concerts of Bieszczady bards are sometimes held.

NOTE: it may happen that from time to time there will be a social gathering there. If so, we will inform you about it when booking. Basically, however, our settlement is a place for people who love peace, quiet and nature.

A rather steep driveway leads to the settlement, but in case of problems you can count on my support and entry in an off-road vehicle.

If you feel like it, we can provide you with delicious sit-downs. They have a traditional character: cheese, cold cuts, bread, eggs, honey.

The nearest larger shops are 6 km away, so it's best to stock up on supplies there on the way.

In autumn, don't forget your mushroom baskets!

On site, you will find:
- a shared tub and sauna (or a private tub at cottages no. 5 and 6),
- ponds where you can fish,
- a place for a bonfire,
- a shelter where you can sit and eat meals together,
- a volleyball court and badminton.
In the Sanocko-Turczańskie Mountains (i.e. those just before the Bieszczady Mountains), it is impossible to get bored:
- the Good Soldier Švejk Cycling Trail runs nearby,
- you have 15 min. to Wańkowa Ski, where there is a ski slope and the longest zip-line in Poland is 48 m high and 1350 m long and you can go up to 120 km, there is also a tubing track for pontoon rides,
- there are famous serpentines in the Słonne Mountains (this is one of the local mountain ranges), which you can drive through or climb Przysłop along the red trail, e.g. from Rakowa.

The closest to us are the trails right under our noses, i.e. those of the Słonne Mountains. The name of the range comes from the brine springs that occur here, from which salt was extracted for centuries. Today, no one does this anymore, but you can walk on the trails that cross the area, unmarked paths that stretch for kilometers, drink water from the springs and give bear tracks a wide berth. Apart from the inhabitants of the forest such as wolves, lynxes and eagles, it is difficult to come across other wanderers, which is becoming increasingly rare in Biesy.

The Internet does not work well here and the network may interrupt, and the coverage may also be poor. However, if you want to work offline, e.g. creatively, it is easy to concentrate and be inspired in houses among the trees.
