Here's the fun! Time off from classes, de-stressing, a break from the city. One for the weekend, for work or contemplating trees. We have a large collection of them in a large forested meadow with a stream flowing through it, perfect for soaking your feet, but also for fishing. Laba, which was inspired by Latvian barge houses at the exit to the Baltic Sea, is close enough to the capital that the commute is not tiring, but just far enough to be surrounded by nature. In the buffer zone of the Kampinos Forest, we have created a simple house where a couple or a quartet can hide. It met all our travel requirements to such an extent that we wanted to share it. We serve aesthetic and relaxation experiences here: a forest bath in a bathtub on the terrace, a homemade feast inspired by the books we leave for you, and coffee drunk in a meadow. Nature is the only neighbor, you can go out for mushrooms in slippers and go for a walk to the Bzura River.
It's time for a lab! Come!
Laba is 50 minutes away from the capital city. It stands in the buffer zone of the Kampinos National Park, on an area of 6,000 m², part of which is a meadow and a stream flowing through it. The 42 m² house was built for a couple (or four people, if 2 people sleep on a fold-out sofa). Inside you will find: a bedroom with a double bed on an open mezzanine, a living room, an open kitchen with a large table and a bathroom with a shower. The interiors are cozy and pleasing to the eye. Additionally, you can count on a heated floor and air conditioning.
On site you will also find: a bathtub on the terrace (with heated water), a fireplace, deckchairs and a large piece of private forest.
The house will give you complete privacy. You will have no neighbors here, and you can check-in and check-out yourself (according to the instructions we sent).
We really wanted a spacious and comfortable kitchen, and this is what awaits you in the house. We both like cooking very much and we have made sure that you can prepare a multi-course feast here. We leave you books with recipes so that you can get inspired.
In the kitchen you will find: a large fridge, an oven with a microwave function, a dishwasher, a set of pots and pans, a French press, a coffee maker, a quick transfer set, coffee, tea and a set of spices. Coffee and tea lovers will be pleased. The only choice you have to make is whether to drink your favorite drink on the terrace or in the meadow.
It's time for a lab!
The name is not accidental, we created this house so that we could come here and idle away. Sweet, slow and clearing his head.
The terrace of the house has a built-in bathtub, next to it there is a stove to heat the water in it, and in the house there is a mixture of herbs and salt from the Dead Sea to enhance relaxation and make forest bathing more pleasant. You can also calm down by reading books on a deckchair and walking around our meadow. You can bask in the warmth of the fireplace or sit on one of the pillows by the fire (there will be a supply of wood waiting for you), prepare a feast and contemplate while gazing at the trees.
Time to explore the area!
Just walk 800 meters to reach the Bzura River. The path leads along the flood embankment, then turns into a dirt path. This is a nice route for morning runs. Come to the river for sunsets, a picnic in the grass or go rafting. Our meadow has direct access to a small river, which is one of the boundaries of the plot - you can soak your feet in it or try to catch something.
Our neighborhood is perfect for walking because it is very picturesque. Nearby there is an educational trail "Through Wilcza Góra", approximately 2.5 km long. It starts near the last station of the narrow-gauge railway in Wilcze Tułowskie and makes a loop. It leads through the dune area (Białe Śladowskie Mountains).
The mentioned narrow-gauge railway runs from Sochaczew, where the Narrow-Gauge Railway Museum is located. During the season (from April to October) you can go on a trip on a retro train driven by the pre-war steam locomotive Px29-1704 or the diesel locomotive Lxd2-342.
You can also ride around the area. Lovers of two wheels will be pleased with many bicycle routes, both gravel paths along the river, those leading through the forest, and numerous asphalt routes. The Kampinos Forest stretches nearby. The main trail (marked in green) runs around the forest and forms a loop 145 km long. Part of the route runs in the buffer zone of the landscape park and reaches the neighboring towns of Brochów and Tułowice.
In Brochów you will see the church of St. Roch and Saint John the Baptist, which is a defensive building and has the character of a fortress. The combination of defensive and religious functions makes it a unique monument on a European scale. Fryderyk Chopin's parents were married in the church, and the composer was baptized there.
What’s there for employees?
Wifi is OK and you can work here. There is a dedicated work space inside - we have prepared a foldable desk in a cozy corner overlooking the forest. If you prefer, you can choose the terrace for clicking and making video calls.
