Do you prefer a panoramic view of the Tatras or the Pieniny Mountains and Lake Czorsztyn? Unfortunately, you will have to choose. Our cottage in a fabulous observation point is located in such a way that from the right bedroom you can see one mountain range, and from the left another. However, there is no observational FOMO waiting for you here, because from the terrace surrounding the building you will see every noteworthy view. Instead of a telescope, take your swimsuits - at its top lies one of the best located tubs in Poland. If you don't feel like the kings of the world while soaking in it, then at least like the kings of Podhale.

Our house has not only exceptional views. It is very special in itself. Despite its modern construction, it is atmospheric and fully natural, built using alternative construction technology. Wood, straw, clay plaster and cellulose insulation give it superpowers: excellent thermal insulation, a beneficial effect on health and well-being (it is a good place for allergy sufferers) and a special aroma that soothes the senses. Have you ever slept in a house like this? If not, start with a high C and come high up to our Podhale to the Observatory.

There are 2 bedrooms available for guests. Each of them has an extraordinary view - of Lake Czorsztyńskie or the panorama of the Tatra Mountains. A comfortable mattress will ensure a comfortable sleep.

Take into account that on our plot there is also a yurt (Dzikość Serce, you can also find it on Slowhop). The distance creates comfortable conditions for rest for all our guests.

In the area you can buy local products – oscypek, eggs, honey.

The shepherd's hut where you can buy oscypek, bundz or żętyca is a few hundred meters from us, on the way to Przełęcz Knurowska. And the second one is further, but most of you will pass it anyway. On the way to the cottage, on the road between Nowy Targ and Krościenko. It is near the road. It is about 10 minutes before the Observatory.

We really like Podhale. Here you can find everything you need for relaxation. We are a firm believer in spending your time actively, and here, right under our noses, we have Lake Czorsztyn, the Gorce Mountains, the Tatra Mountains, hot springs, bike trails, and beautiful kayaking trips.

In winter, we love ski touring. When the weather conditions allow, we choose the Tatra Mountains. We put on our skis and go to Murowaniec or the ski slope to Jaszczurówka, for example. And when there is an avalanche warning, we safely go to Turbacz. You can rent skis in Zakopane or Nowy Targ, Białka, or Bukowina.

If the number of skiers on a crowded scale doesn't bother you, we are only 15 minutes away from Kotelnica. Bukowina Tatrzańska is the largest ski resort in Poland. And if you prefer to watch Kotelnica from a quiet distance, just go out in front of the yurt, because from there you can see the entire mountain and the most beautiful panorama of the Tatra Mountains.

In the summer we jump on our bikes. A scenic route starts right behind the yurt. It is a county road leading to the Knurowska Pass, then through Ochotnica Dolna and Górna to the Dunajec River, then along the Nowy Sącz - Krościenko road you return back to the yurt.

At the foot of our Cyrnowa Góra, there is the most beautiful mountain route in Poland, the Velo Dunajec. We envy those who have not yet had the opportunity to pedal around Lake Czorsztyńskie. It will be an amazing experience.

Man does not live by bike alone. So we also jump into a kayak. We are not fans of rafting down the Dunajec with raftsmen, but the same route in a kayak is something else. I have kayaked in Canada and this rafting is comparably interesting. It is worth remembering that this is a mountain route, so you need to have some knowledge of paddling. When the water level is higher, after rainfall, the current is strong, but when the water is low, it is calm.

We also highly recommend renting a sailboat and sailing on Lake Czorsztyn. If you have a license - great, but you can also rent a sailboat with a helmsman without it. The lake is located in a valley, so there are nice reflective winds here. And the reservoir is really interesting, because where would you be able to sail around two castles and admire the mountains from the deck.

And now a little tip on how to have your cake and eat it too. If you want to relax in the warmth of Termy Chochołowskie, we recommend going there during the week and in the evening. From 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. a cheaper evening pass is valid. There are very few people, and the thermal baths are open until 10:00 p.m., so you will still have plenty of time for swimming.

We suspect that children will like it here very much. Living in a house like from an adventure novel, cows in the pasture next door, sheep not far away (sometimes they come to our area). In addition, various mountain attractions, including a beautiful trail among the trees, Brama w Gorce - Nature and Education Center.
