On one of the monks' pond, used to regulate the flow of its waters, the year 1820 is carved in granite. The barn standing next to it should be slightly younger. When it came into our hands, its condition did not need to be assessed. He was miserable. However, we felt that such treasures should be saved and preserved. That's why we scrubbed the walls, exposed the original granite on the walls and carefully restored the interior of the building that became our home. We have also created two apartments - one for a larger group, the other ideal for duos, and a glass conservatory for sitting together. We live here simply, peacefully and off the beaten track. After breakfast, you can put on your shoes and hit the trail (start from Bobrowe Skały) or hop on your bike and pedal to Szklarska Poręba for sightseeing and lunch. From the clearing in our forest you can see the panorama of the Karkonosze Mountains, which is astonishing, and sitting on the terrace or by the fireplace you can have a good rest. On Łąkowa we have our own spring - a source from which you can draw nourishing energy. Maybe the nearby Witches' Glade, once a sacred place of the Slavs, has something to do with it. Or maybe it's something in the crystal clear air here. It's worth checking it out for yourself.
At the foot of the Karkonosze Mountains, in an over 200-year-old barn, we created Łąkowa Zdrój. This is our house and 2 different-sized apartments that we have prepared for you.
Apartment no. 2 has 51 m². It consists of a living room with a fireplace connected to a kitchenette, a bathroom with a shower and one bedroom with a double bed and access to the terrace. Two additional sleeping places are on the fold-out sofa.
Apartment no. 3 is 120 m² and has two levels. It consists of two bedrooms with double beds (each with its own bathroom), a shared bathroom with a shower, a living room with a kitchenette (with a kitchen island and a large table) and an open mezzanine with two single beds. Additional sleeping places are two fold-out sofas. The apartment also has a terrace.
We have decorated the interior in a rustic style with a lot of coziness. The original granite has been preserved on some of the walls.
The barn stands by a pond and is surrounded by a forest. We created a space for a bonfire in the clearing. You will be able to admire the entire panorama of the Karkonosze Mountains from there, from Śnieżka to Śnieżne Kotły. There will also be an orangery at your disposal.
We welcome you with pets, but please note that we do not have a tight fence.
Welcome to Lower Silesia, which offers a lot to discover, but does not force you to do anything. You can as well stay by the pond, sit in the winter garden or on the terrace, cut yourself off from the world and do nothing. We are located on the outskirts of Piechowice, near the forest, from which you can go straight to mountain trails. However, before you set off, make yourself comfortable in a comfortable apartment with a fireplace in the living room, prepare something delicious in the comfortable kitchen and take a walk around our area. Next to the barn there is a charming pond, on the plot we also have an old, recreated orchard and a piece of forest with a clearing for a bonfire, from which there is a wonderful view of the mountains.
About 50 meters from us there is a place from which you will go to Bobrowe Skały and the Witches' Glade. Straight ahead you will reach the Kropelka waterfall (where you can swim). We are located next to the slope along which the train climbs to Szklarska Poręba, it is worth taking a ride along this route because it offers beautiful views. You can take the bikes that we have on site and go to Szklarska Poręba for lunch. Thanks to road No. 366 from Piechowice to Kowary, you can easily reach Karpacz, Sosnówka, Podgórze and Świeradów.
We have prepared a small list of recommendations for you, for more you can contact us on site. What does the area offer?
