Ponikwa is hidden between the Jagodna massif and the Wyszkowski Ridge in the Upper Nysa Trench. Its name comes from disappearing. To escape is nothing else than to escape or to absorb. So you won't be surprised that in a place where you can hide from the world for a while, you can ventilate your head well. Yoga is also helpful in blowing away intrusive thoughts and getting rid of the multitude of them, so start the day with a few asanas on the terrace. Mats and a book with ideas for practice are waiting on site. After a calming session with a view of the Śnieżnik Massif and the Bystrzyckie Mountains, you can sit on the sofa in a comfortable, wooden house in the Sudetes style and stay there. You can go out to the meadow to pick herbs and make an infusion of lilac, dandelion or dandelion. You can also tie on comfortable shoes and go ahead. Forest and spa baths, mountain hikes, bicycle rides, visits to palaces and caves, as well as winter fun in nearby resorts or cross-country walks await you here. There is a good chance that you will return from here restored to natural settings. And certainly with a picture painted by Agnieszka.
Come, you can get lost here.
Dandelion is a wooden house in the Sudetes style, standing in the heart of the valley with a view of the Śnieżnik Massif and the Bystrzyckie Mountains.
Downstairs there is a living room with a sofa bed and table, a kitchenette and a bathroom with a shower. The stairs will lead you to an open bedroom with one double bed and one single bed. The walls are decorated with a gallery of original paintings.
In front of the house there is a large, furnished terrace, a fireplace and a meadow full of herbs. There are fields and forests nearby, but you can also see buildings.
You can reach us by train. From Długopole-Zdrój station you can get here in less than 30 minutes.
In our Ponikwa, the sun rises over the Śnieżnik Massif, and in the evening it hides behind the Bystrzyckie Mountains. The views are mesmerizing and unforgettable. Our wooden house is surrounded by meadows and forests, and the mountain wind effectively clears our heads from the rush of thoughts. And it often makes room for new ones. Yoga is also good for peace of mind, so there are 2 mats and a book with yoga positions in the house.
We like to get lost on the trails, sometimes finding our way on the Czech side of the Śnieżnik Massif, admiring the Wilczki waterfall in Polish Switzerland, walking around the magical Międzygórze or bathing in the icy Młoty waterfall. We enjoy tasting water from a spring flowing into the three seas (while climbing the Trójmorski Wierch), eating potatoes with gzik and pancakes with blueberries in the mountain shelter on Jagodna, as well as walking the narrow streets of Bystrzyca Kłodzka, drinking spa water in the pump room and relaxing during hydromassage treatments in Długopol-Zdrój, located 5 minutes by car from the house.
The red trail runs through Ponikwa, leading from Długopol to Przełęcz Spalona, a vast meadow and the peaks of the Bystrzyckie Mountains. At this point there is a crossroads of trails, the red one joins the green and blue ones. We really like trips to June and Kłodzka Góra. You can also go to Czerniec from the viewpoint in Gniewoszów. After fifteen minutes by car, you will have a 1.5-hour hike in a straight line through a beautiful forest, ending with admiring the views from the observation tower of the valley, 7 more towers, the Bystrzyckie Mountains and the Śnieżnik Massif. The trip to Kłodzka Góra will take you approximately the same time. You go to the forest parking lot 8 km outside Kłodzko (GPS: Kłodzka Góra), and from there you reach the observation tower through the beech forest. You can also go to Śnieżnik, the shortest route to this peak starts from Kletno (the ascent takes about 2 hours). Along the way, you will pass a mineral water spring, a former marble quarry, a cave and a shelter. You can also climb Śnieżnik from Międzygórze, which you can reach by car in 20 minutes.
You can visit the Gold Mine in Złoty Stok with its underground tourist route, the third largest castle in Poland (Książ Castle), the uranium mine in Kletno and the Papermaking Museum in Duszniki-Zdrój, located in an architecturally unique paper mill from the 17th century. If you want to slow down completely, go for a walk around one of the health resorts: Międzygórze, Lądek-Zdrój, Duszniki-Zdrój, Polanica-Zdrój, Kudowa-Zdrój or Długopol-Zdrój.
Two singletrack loops start in Jodłów, just over 20 km from us: Jodłów and Ostoja. Singletack Glacensis is the largest network of bicycle routes in Poland, offering over 200 km of one-way paths for two-wheelers. And in Dolni Morava in the Czech Republic there is a Downhill Trail. On the Czech side there is also a Sky Walk, the so-called path in the clouds.
For skiing, we recommend the Dolni Morava or Bukova Hora resorts in the Czech Republic and the smaller Cenkovice resort. You will reach the Polish Czarna Góra in less than half an hour. Cross-country skiing is successfully developing in Spalona.
What’s there for children?
Children can also clear their heads here, because this space, this view and the opportunity to commune with nature have an impact on everyone. We leave you some board games in the house for family games. And in front of the house there is a whole world to discover, a meadow to explore and adventures to come up with.
What’s there for employees?
You can work with us because the internet works flawlessly. If necessary, just choose your favorite place - downstairs at the table, on the sofa or on the terrace, and go!
