Things happen to people. It happened to us in Jodłów. Before we could think that it was madness, we were already packing our Poznań life into a box. It doesn't matter that there is no electricity, no road, no water. All you need for happiness is a stream, the most beautiful views ever and a container roof over your head. Let's add to this the altitude: 700 m above sea level and a passion for creating a hut from noise. And here it is: Bliss. Two cottages, where we did everything with our own hands and ideas.
Are you looking for this authenticity? This silence, mountain trails on your doorstep and a forest that rustles but doesn't babble or babble? If so, drop by the meadows of Śnieżnica. Life is lived here much more blissfully.
In one of the two cottages. Both are twin-like, so in each of them you will find: - a closed bedroom on the ground floor with a double bed,
- a mezzanine with two single beds,
- a living room connected to the kitchen,
- a bathroom with a shower.
- a fireplace and air conditioning with a heating function
We are the authors of both the cottage design and its interior. We made every piece of furniture and every detail with our own hands.
We do not offer meals. However, the cottages have well-equipped kitchens, where cooking is a pleasure. In the area of Jodłów you can stock up on delicious local cheeses and eggs. Below we also provide proven addresses for eating dinners. One of the more surprising is "Zakręt" with its own Asian cuisine - in the winter season they operate in Bystrzyca Kłodzka, in the summer season they move to the open air on the way to Spalona.
In 2025, we ourselves plan to introduce dinners to the door and breakfast baskets, so stay tuned :)
You know, in our country, you leave the house, close the door and go to the mountains. You don't have to commute anywhere, you don't have to plan. There is a red trail straight ahead, a yellow trail on the right and a blue trail behind us. Trójmorski Wierch, Śnieżnik, Mały Śnieżnik, Puchacz... you go wherever your legs take you!
Moreover, Jodłów has singletracks. This is where two beautiful loops begin: Jodłów and Ostoja. In the vicinity there is also the Dolni Morava complex, which can be reached (shortcut) by bike or car (approx. 20 minutes) - this is where the Downhill Trail is located.
We are also a good base for cross-country skiing. In 20 minutes you will reach beautiful, scenic and long routes in the Bialskie Mountains. A great idea to spend time in winter is also to explore our areas on BC skis. You can also climb Śnieżnik on ski tours!
Behind the hill at the Czech neighbors in the Dolni Morava complex (it will take you about 20 minutes by car) there are many attractions such as: a toboggan run, the Cloud Trail, SkyBridge, impressive playgrounds (including a water one), ski slopes, cross-country skiing trails , and Downhill Trail.
What else do we recommend in our area?
1. A visit to the town of Międzygórze, which is distinguished by its Alpine architecture and the beautiful Wilczki waterfall. The waterfall is very picturesquely illuminated after dusk. You can go to Alpejski Dwór for dinner, to the Marianna Cafe for a cake, and to Galeria Kotlina for local souvenirs without any kitsch.
2. Finding the ruins of the non-existent village of Rothflössel - currently Czerwony Strumień. Here you will find, among others: remains of a baroque chapel. Be sure to combine your walk with a visit to the Janulenka summer cafe in Kamieńczyk. The cafe is located in a restored former German house and has a wonderful view of the Valley. There is also an excellent Pizza na Koło nearby (check the opening days!).
3. Descent underground, inside the uranium mine in Kletno. The route is not very demanding and the guides are really committed to their work. Next to it there is the Earth Museum, the Bear Cave, a heap of minerals (you can just enter here, look carefully at your feet and come out with, for example, an amethyst) and the flooded Kletno quarry, which no one visits. And it's really beautiful.
4. In hot weather, you can drive to the Czech Pastviny reservoir (approx. 25 - 30 minutes by car). On the Polish side, a 40-minute drive away, there is a reservoir in the Ore Mountains. The water is... well, quite cold :) In winter you can see walruses or even ice skaters here. It is worth combining a trip to the Rudawy Mountains with an ascent to Jagoda - a peak with an observation tower, included in the Crown of Polish Mountains. From this side, Jagodna is less crowded, and the route is even nicer than the more popular black trail from Spalona.
What’s there for children?
Near Błogostan (approx. 7 km) there is a farm with Alpacas (Alpacas on Relax). You can also go to the Howgh Indian Village in Stary Waliszów. A trip to Dolni Morava guarantees a whole host of attractions.
The cottage itself has no facilities for children. There are quite wide stairs leading to the mezzanine, and we secured the top with a net so that parents don't have to keep their eyes on them all the time.
What’s there for employees?
If you absolutely have to work in Błogostan... no problem! Use the large table in the living room or a comfortable sofa, connect to Wi-Fi and get started! But we warn you, the view in front of you may be distracting and encourage you to go to the mountains... :)
